The Kodokan is one of Japan’s national historical sites and important cultural properties, located in Mito city. It was the largest school of feudal domain in Japan, established by the ninth feudal lord of the Mito Clan, Nariaki Tokugawa, in 1842.
The last Shogun, Yoshinobu Tokugawa, studied at this school in his early childhood, and spent his life while he was confined after the restoration of imperial rule.
In this filming, we were able to film things we can’t normally see such as the real bird’s eye view drawing, the inside of Confucian temple, and the Kodokan-ki monument in the eight trigrams hall.

「坂東武者」その先駆者である平将門の伝説が今も息づく茨城県坂東市。旅行者は平将門と深いゆかりのある國王神社でお参りした後、逆井城跡公園を訪れます。矢倉の中に入って上の階から景色を眺め、日本の城の雰囲気を楽しみます。主殿とその内部の虎のふすま絵を見学、そして園内を散策した後「どんぐりてい」にて米粉を使ったドーナツ作りを体験。できあがったドーナツを美味しそうに食べた後、菅生沼へ。桟橋を歩き景色を眺めながら茨城県自然博物館を目指します。到着後、博物館内を見学、マンモスの化石に出迎えられ、子供も大人も楽しめる様々な展示が立ち並ぶ各所を興味深そうに巡ります。日が沈んだ頃、ばんどうイルミネーションファンタジーの会場を訪れ、綺麗に輝くイルミネーションを眺め、旅行者は坂東市の旅を終えます。

鬼怒川と共に長い歴史を紡いで来た茨城県常総市。旅行者は地域交流センター（豊田城）の展望室から常総市の景色を眺めます。その後センター内の展示室を巡り、外へ。長塚節の像と並び、周りを見回した後、次の目的地へ向かって歩き出します。旅行者は「ゆたかや」を訪れ、名物のだんごを堪能した後、外へ出てみると、もう一件のお団子屋さん「春子屋」を発見。興味津々、中へ入ってみます。旅行者はそこで今度は春子屋のお団子の味を楽しみます。次に渡辺木版を訪れ、浮世絵版画の展示を興味深そうに眺め、工房内を見学させてもらいます。その後、坂野家住宅を目指して道を歩き、現地に到着した旅行者は建物の周囲と内部を巡り、古き良き日本の建物の雰囲気を満喫した後、弘経寺を訪れます。境内を散策し、千姫のお墓の前で一礼した後、本堂内部を見学させてもらいます。そこには江戸時代の雰囲気を宿す内装が今も残り、更には千姫の物も含む徳川歴代将軍の位牌や黄金に輝く大きな仏像が保管、展示されていました。弘経寺を後にし、夕焼け空の下、鬼怒川のすぐ近くにある五木宗レンガ蔵を訪れ、そのレンガの壁に触れながら、その建物が鬼怒川と共に経てきた歴史を感じた後、鬼怒川方面へ向かって歩き出します。夜、常総市の旅の最後、旅行者は鬼怒川沿いの花火大会会場付近で花火を見に訪れた沢山の人達と共に暗闇を照らすいくつもの花火を眺めます。

茨城県日立市。広大な海と恵み豊かな山々の間に栄える都市。旅行者達は日立駅の駅舎内から目の前に広がる海を眺めた後、日立おさかなセンターで新鮮な海産物を自由に選んで丼にする「味勝手丼」を食べます。その後、十王と呼ばれる町にあるネジの製造工場を見学。そこでネジが製造される工程を見せてもらい、その技術力を注いで作られたコマを触らせてもらいます。その場でコマ対戦を体験させてもらった後は日鉱記念館を訪れ、施設内を見学しながら、日立の鉱山の歴史を学び、鉱石の展示を眺めます。場所を移し、日立市かみね動物園で動物と触れ合い、普段なかなか目にすることの出来ない動物達を眺めていきます。その日の旅の最後は日立シビックセンターへ。ユネスコ無形文化遺産に登録された日立風流物の展示を見上げ、プラネタリウムで美しい星の映像を眺めます。日が沈んだ後、旅行者達はうのしまヴィラに宿泊。翌日の早朝、旅行者は施設内の海岸を歩き、そこから美しい日の出を眺め、日立市の旅を終えます。

The most remarkable thing about the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido, and it's capital city Sapporo is the contrast in temperatures between winter and summer.
As a result of the thick snows that turns the city into a winter wonderland during the winter months, Sapporo is favoured more as a winter sports destination than a spring or summer resort. There are ski-slopes within the city limits and residents often enjoy a quick run after work. Sapporo is one of Japan's newest cities, having been constructed almost from scratch as the capital of Hokkaido in 1871.
Sapporo is a clean, well-organised and attractive city with plenty of parks and gardens, wide tree-lined streets, a number of good museums and galleries, and enough shops, restaurants and bars to keep everybody entertained. The main attraction of the city is Mount Moiwa and the mountain's ski slopes, which caters to all ski-enthusiasts with its 11 different courses right on the city's doorstep. Sapporo is a great holiday destination for families who are keen to enjoy a skiing holiday in Japan. For some insight into the fascinating Ainu culture and the region's history visit the outdoor museum in the Hokkaido Nopporo Forest Park, and the Hokkaido Ainu Centre a little way out of the city. For aprés ski relaxation and pampering take an excursion to the famous hot springs of Noboribetsu.

茨城県水戸市にある国指定特別史跡・重要文化財、弘道館。1842年、水戸藩第９代藩主徳川斉昭によって開設された日本最大の藩校です。最後の将軍徳川慶喜も幼少期にこの場所で学び、大政奉還後に謹慎生活を送りました。今回は実物の「鳥瞰図」（ちょうかんず）や孔子廟の内部、八卦堂に収められている弘道館記碑など普段は見ることのできない部分を映像に納めることができました。

Two tourists visit Kasumigaura City.Cycling while watching large Lake Kasumigaura and lotus roots field spreading all over.They visit a local restaurant and enjoy a delicious hot pot ,Shabu Shabu, pork grown with lotus roots.They have changed into kimono.Green tea “Matcha” and Japanese sweets “Wagashi” that are served at the Japanese atmosphereful private houses are exceptional.Here is a history museum in the shape of a castle. They touch the history and culture in Kasumigaura City.Hobikisen is a quite unusual boat they’ve never seen before. A brave figure that spreads a large white sail is a unique characteristic of Lake Kasumigaura.Taking a lot of photos with excitement.They are heading for Satoyama, which is village-vicinity, with a bike.As they go through the temple gate, a lot of unique and pretty stone statues are greeting them there, in the precincts.Great experience of persimmon picking at the foot of the mountain, tasting quite freshment and sweet.From the view point , Yukiiri Fureaino Sato Park, half way up a mountain, you can see the whole city around.
From Mitsuishi Forest Park, the fantastic scenery surrounded by the sea of clouds spreads.While running the bicycle, they are thinking back some enjoyable events today.

Kasumigaura City is a garden city about 70 km away from the capital city Tokyo, about 30 km from the prefectural capital Mito City, about 10 km from Tsukuba Science City. Also it’s located 10 km away from Ibaraki airport. Kasumigaura City is conveniently located in terms of public transportation with the JR Joban Line, Chiyoda-Ishioka IC of Joban Expressway, Route 6, and Route 354. Kasumigaura City is famous for its fruits and aquatic products from Lake Kasumigaura.

Ayumi An is a Sukiya style building with a tea room and a sitting room. Guests can enjoy matcha (powdered green tea) served by volunteer staff. Minka En was built during the Edo period and dismantled and transferred from another site.

The building of the History museum is inspired by a three-story castle. It is the symbol of Ayumizaki Park. There are artifacts and panels that tell the history of the city.

【Hobikisen for tourists】
Hobikisens dominated fishery practices as the main fishing method in Kasumigaura. Hobikisens currently operate as tourist attractions. The dignified figure of sailing ships with large white sails is a seasonal event unique to Kasumigaura.
【Fujimitsuka Tomb Mound Park】
This is a circular-shaped ancient tomb with a rectangular frontage presumably constructed in the early 6th century. Mt.Fuji is visible from the top of the tomb on a clear sunny day.

The main hall and the mountain gate are Kasumigaura designated cultural properties. There are many stone Buddha in the precincts called Five Hundred Han Dynasties.

People can enjoy picking fruits in the tourist orchards in Kasumigaura throughout the year. There are many types of fruits, including the famous pears, chestnuts, grapes (Kyoho grape), persimmons, strawberries, and blueberries. Please enjoy the seasonal flavors of Kasumigaura.

大きく広がる霞ヶ浦や一面に広がる蓮根畑を眺めながらのサイクリング。訪れたレストランでは、レンコン豚のしゃぶしゃぶなどの絶品料理を楽しみます。初めて見る帆引き船。大きな白い帆を広げて進む勇壮な姿は、霞ヶ浦ならではの風物詩。興奮気味にカメラのシャッターを切ります。お寺の山門をくぐると、境内にはたくさんのユニークでかわいらしい石像がお出迎え。山のふもとでは柿狩りを体験。取れ立てを食し頬を緩ませます。三ツ石森林公園からは雲海につつまれた幻想的な景色が広がります。自転車を走らせながら、これまでの楽しかった出来事を振り返ります。

“Ushiku Chateau” in Ushiku City, Ibaraki Prefecture, is a facility full of greenery with a memorial hall and museum on a vast site of approximately 60,000 square meters. The founder is Kamiya Denbee. In 1903, it prospered as the first brewery in Japan to produce wine for the first time, from grape cultivation to brewing and bottling.
At its peak, 130,000 vines were planted, and minecarts were laid from the vineyard to the brewery and the current Ushiku Station. After the war, vineyards were reduced due to agricultural land reform, but it was reborn as a leisure land for food in 1948, and it was once a popular tourist spot in Ushiku City. In recent years, restaurants and shops have also been closed and the management has been reduced, but you can relax in the storage areas designated as important cultural properties of the country.
