The Kodokan is one of Japan’s national historical sites and important cultural properties, located in Mito city. It was the largest school of feudal domain in Japan, established by the ninth feudal lord of the Mito Clan, Nariaki Tokugawa, in 1842.
The last Shogun, Yoshinobu Tokugawa, studied at this school in his early childhood, and spent his life while he was confined after the restoration of imperial rule.
In this filming, we were able to film things we can’t normally see such as the real bird’s eye view drawing, the inside of Confucian temple, and the Kodokan-ki monument in the eight trigrams hall.

I Love this song and listened several times while I’m walking around Senba lake in Mito . I found a nice spot to lay down and simply enjoyed the beautiful relaxing garden. ( Kairakuen ) This was really exciting day trip !

Kakamigahara Japan Tourism. Kakamigahara (各務原市 Kakamigahara-shi?) is a city located in southern Gifu Prefecture.
Situated in the northern part of the Noubi Plain, what is now Kakamigahara originally thrived as a stop on the Nakasendo Road, being called Unamujuku at the time. In more recent history, the city developed thanks to the SDF Gifu base. In addition, Kakamigahara grew as an industrial city and a commuter suburb of Gifu City and Nagoya.

Every year in July, beautiful pink lotus flowers are in full bloom at Ibaraki history museum.
The petals open in the early morning and closing around noon.
It is spectacular view that all lotus flowers are blossoming at the same time in the hot summer morning. You only have a chance to see the lotus flower blossom in four days.
The origin of word HASU (lotus) is from HACHISU (bee hive). The reason of the name is that the appearance of its receptacle, which has many holes after seeds drooped, looks like a bee hive.
Therefore, a lotus root (RENKON) is an important ingredient for traditional Japanese New year dish (OSECHI) as a good luck food.
Every lotus root has about ten holes. Japanese ancient believe that you can see your bright future though the holes.
The pond of lotus flower at Ibaraki history museum is only 200m from west gate of Kairakuen.

The park is famous for Plum blossoms and usually lots of people come to visit it. It is also one of the most beautiful parks that I've visited in my whole stay here in Japan. Festival in Japan: Mito Komon Matsuri 2019
Mito shi is the capital city of Ibaraki ken in Japan. I used to live in Ibaraki and Mito has always been a special place to me. I now live in Kanagawa but I went to Mito to visit my friends and join this year's Matsuri (festival). This is a very short video of the highlights of the festival. I opted not to include other footage that I have because I wasn't able to get the consent of my friends for their appearance in the video. Nonetheless, we had a great time and I want to put this video hete to remind me of the beautiful Mito shi.
This is my first video, edited using my phone while having dinner. I hope to post more quality videos in the future.
