Agenda of mobility to Estonia 08 03 2015 3 Evening of national cultures and traditions
• Evening with studio “JOY” and international presentation of partners
The event was promoted in local press as open for all people to share information about GRUNDTVIG Lifelong learning program between residents.
On the event we had two special guests The Chairman of Valga City Council Ivar Unt and The Mayor of Valga City Kalev Härk.
Firstly during the evening activities of studio JOY were presented by:
- dancing group “Naised”,
- the vocal ensemble “Samsara”,
- Young breakdance group “B-Boys Squad”
- Hip-hop group “Klaim”
After that all of the participants of mobility presented what they had learned during vocal and dance workshops. They also sang the song “Telefon” and danced the dance created by Jelena Butkevits.
In continuation of the evening presented our guest, the dance ensemble from Tõrva city (dance teacher Valdeko Kalamees), presented national Estonian dances and gave class to the all participant of the event.
In the end of the event all groups of mobility gave overview of their organisations their organizations and shared information about national cultures, traditions and national songs.

Я ленивая жопа, но пару недель назад мы путешествовали в Тарту, по пути заехали на мельницу, её кстати советовал нейшнл географик, ну и сам музей, где мы хапнули кучу лулзов и удовольствия, была классная поездка. Вторая часть будет чисто о том как мы тупили в Тарту :D П.С Спойлеры сегодня едем снимать водопад и какой то там маяк и немного ухоженной тропы вдоль моря :D

PEIPUS Lake | Largest Lake in Estonia | Kauksi Beach | Mustvee Town
Short trip to Peipus lake, beautiful Kauksi beach and Mustvee fishing town. Lake Peipus (Estonian: Peipsi-Pihkva järv; Russian: Псковско-Чудское озеро) is the largest trans-boundary lake in Europe, lying on the border between Estonia and Russia. The lake is the fifth-largest in Europe after Lake Ladoga and Lake Onega (in Russia north of Saint Petersburg), Lake Vänern (in Sweden), and Lake Saimaa (in Finland).
Lake Peipus represents a remnant of a body of water which existed in this area during a former ice age. It covers 3,555 km2, and has an average depth of 7.1 m, the deepest point being 15 m. The lake has several islands and consists of three parts:
- Lake Peipsi / Chudskoye (Estonian: Peipsi järv, Russian: Чудское озеро), the northern part of the lake
- Lake Pihkva / Pskovskoye (Estonian: Pihkva järv, Russian: Псковское озеро), the southern part of the lake
- Lake Lämmi / Tyoploye (Estonian: Lämmijärv, Russian: Тёплое озеро), the sound connecting the other two parts of the lake
The lake is used for fishing and recreation. Some 30 rivers and streams discharge into Lake Peipus. The largest rivers are the Emajõgi and the Velikaya River. The lake drains into the Gulf of Finland via the Narva River.
In 1242 the lake was the site of the Battle on the Ice (Estonian: Jäälahing) between the Teutonic Knights and Novgorodians under Prince Alexander Nevsky.

Чудское озеро (устар. Гдо́вское о́зеро; в Эстонии называется Пе́йпси эст. Peipsi järv) - крупное пресноводное озеро, является северной составляющей так называемого Чудско-Псковского озёрного комплекса.
Северный и западный берега принадлежат республике Эстония, восточный — Российской Федерации (Псковская область и небольшой участок в истоке реки Нарва принадлежит Сланцевскому району Ленинградской области). Со стороны республики Эстония с озером граничат с севера на юг мааконды (уезды) Ида-Вирумаа, Йыгевамаа и Тартумаа.
Посередине озера проходит граница России и Эстонии. Ранее являлось внутренним водоёмом СССР, а до этого - Российской империи, когда к его берегам выходили границы Псковской, Санкт-Петербургской, Лифляндской и Эстляндской губерний. Прилегающие к озеру территории именуются Причудье.
