What to pack for Iceland - my Iceland Packing List (Circling Iceland Ep.06)
After traveling Iceland for 14 days I put together this comprehensive Iceland Packing list to help you prepare for your own trip to Iceland
➸ My Iceland Packing List:
MY CAMERA EQUIPMENT
▸ Cam1:Sony RX 100 V
▸ Cam2:Sony A7 II
▸ Cam3: GoPro
▸ Drone1: Mavic Pro
▸ Drone2: Phantom 3 Pro
▸ Joby Gorillapod
▸ Audio Recorder: Zoom H2n
▸ SDHC Memory Card
▸ Waterproof Memory Card Case
▸ Backpack Osprey Farpoint 40
▸ 3 Axis Gimbal Stabilizer
In the 6th episode of Circling Iceland I sat down after finishing the trip and show you what I packed for those 2 weeks in Iceland. I was traveling in October/November so I needed to prepare for moderate and freezing temperatures at the same time. Therefore this Iceland packing list is suitable for all seasons in most cases but I also point out differences where needed (e.g. in matters of jackets in summer vs. winter).
Traveling Icelands Ring Road is the perfect way to get to know the country on and off the tourist paths. Therefore we took about 2 weeks to get to know Iceland properly by exploring waterfalls, canyons, hot springs, glacier caves, black beaches and of course the stunning coastlines all around the island finishing off in Reykjavik with the countries biggest music festival called „Iceland Airwaves“
We’ll show you which places to visit & our favorite things to do in Iceland in the upcoming videos and how to plan & organize your very own road trip in Iceland. Make sure to subscribe & activate notification to not miss any episode!
— Places we stayed at —
As mentioned in the video I exclusively stayed at the Oddsson Ho(s)tel for this part of the trip:
As said in the video we stayed in places offered on HomeAway. Therefore the following Links are direct Affiliate Links to the shown properties on the HomeAway website.

— About our Cooperation with SadCars, Oddsson & HomeAway —
We partnered up with a local car rental company called who offer some of the best deals for travelers looking into renting a camper or road trip vehicle. For this the folks at SadCars provided us with a Dacia Duster for the period we did the Ring Road and the Golden Circle route.
In order to show you several accommodation options you can find in Iceland we teamed up with who let me stay in their ubercool suite in Reykjavik and with who let us stay in some of the coolest places all around the island.
Nevertheless all opinions, recommendations and views are my own.

Spent over a week camping in Iceland with my family! Started in Reykjavik and drove through the Southern coast, Highlands area and some of the North. This was such an amazing trip and this video only shows a small fraction of the things we saw and did there. Hope you enjoy!
