中之嶽神社 Nakanotake Shrine
群馬県甘楽郡下仁田町
日本一大きい金色の大黒天像が鎮座している。
野球のお守り
本社は往昔元『波胡曽神』を山の主と祭られていましたが、倭建尊（日本武尊）が勅命に依り関東御巡行の際に妙義山に登嶽したと伝えれております。
大和時代の第二十九代欽明天皇（在位539-571年）の御代に妙形氏が社殿を建立、平安末期、第八十二代後鳥羽天皇の寿永二年三月（1183年）藤原祐胤卿が鍛冶の名工を得て神剣を奉斉いたしました。江戸時代に入ると、第百八第後水尾天皇の元和二年丁巳月（1616年）、加藤長清（道士）が登厳し中興の開山主として神器を守り奉斉し、諸大名が崇敬を寄せ、小幡藩主織田筑前守信久侯が社殿を改築、中之嶽奉行を設け地所を寄進いたしました。
