What To Do In Saint Petersburg : Tourist Attractions
What To Do In Saint Petersburg: This is a look at some tourist attractions in St Petersburg Russia. I start my bike tour on Nevsky Prospect by the Kazan Cathedral and the Singer Cafe. From there, I pass by The Russian Museum on my way to the Savior On The Spilled Blood Church. Next to the Church Of Spilled Blood is the Mikhailovsky Garden. From there I head across the Moyka River next to the National Pushkin Museum. I then head towards the Neva River where you can see the Peter And Paul Fortress. From there I head by the Palace Bridge which I also show what it looks like at night during the opening of the Palace Bridge. Finally, I pass the Temple of Saint Spyridon and up at The Hermitage Museum.
If you want some ideas of what to do in Saint Petersburg Russia then check out this video for some of the must see tourist attractions.

When ready, browse vacation packages to Moscow:
Your #vacation to #Moscow, Russia is bound to be a special one. From the multicolored spires of St. Basil’s Cathedral to the sturdy red walls of the Kremlin, there is much to see and do.
Moscow has long been at the forefront of the creative world. #Tour Moscow to follow in the footsteps of Tolstoy and Chekhov, among others, and join in the sense of pride Russia feels for its literary tradition.
Visit the Memorial Museum of Cosmonauts, where you can learn about the epic space race that lasted from 1955 to 1972.
A city of creativity and innovation, Moscow is also aware of its history. Visit the Fallen Monument Park. After the fall of the Soviet Union, countless statues and monuments were removed from their pedestals and moved to this park. Over the years, more modern artwork and sculptures have been added, turning the park into a strange, yet peaceful graveyard of former icons.

Saint Petersburg Opened My Heart to Russian Women
If you are looking for someone to spend the rest of your life with, then international dating is a great idea and Russia is no doubt top of the list.
Russian women possess beauty and class by upholding genuine qualities that make them ideal wives, and Saint Petersburg is the city to start your journey for finding true love.
Russian women are no doubt beautiful. However, they are not just known for their good looks, but also for their family values.
Their history has brought them to cling to their country’s traditional values and to uphold these values throughout the years. In light of this, women in Saint Petersburg remain traditional as they grow up. They are shaped to become great homemakers and loving wives to their husband.
These ladies are also big on romance.
They are into serious and long-term relationships, which make them suited to become lifelong partners of men who can reciprocate their loyalty and faithfulness.
From dating to marriage, their love will never falter for they value commitment as much as they value their integrity. They are willing to make necessary sacrifices for their loved ones. Their brand of love is unparalleled; it is unconditional.
With everything that the women of Russia possess, it makes international dating worth a try at least once in a man’s life.

Your Catch Is A Main Dish. Russian Fishing Premium Restaurant. Russian Food. St Petersburg, Russia
Russian Fishing is a premium restaurant at Krestovsky Island of St Petersburg, Russia. Since 1999. For 20 years it is never lost it's popularity.
Many times it is awarded as the best restaurant in St Petersburg. In 2014, NY Times listed Russian Fishing as one of the most unusual restaurants in the World.
Russian Fishing restaurant has it's own pond with different kids of fish - starlet, sturgeon, trout, carp, whitefish. Every guest may take a fishing rod and catch the fish he wants. This catch goes to the kitchen right away.
The restaurant is actually a two-storied wooden house made of uncalibrated cedar and larch logs. In the summer time it is considered more like an outdoor terrace of the South Pond of Krestovsky Island.
A motto of restaurant is Your Catch is The Main Dish. However, there is not only a fish menu, but a wide variety of Russian cuisine, including meat dishes.

First Thoughts on Russia | We Spent 48 Hours in St Petersburg, Russia
After our insane Russian visa nightmare we are so glad to arrive here in St Petersburg...these are our first thoughts on the country.
Tour we are on in Russia with On the Go Tours:
We have 48 hours in St Petersburg so we are going to show you as much as possible to do in this incredible city which started off by working out the Metro systems...going to the deepest one in Russia - Admiralteyskaya station. It's so cost effective to use the Metro system, less than a $1 and there's no zones - jump on and just jump off when you are done.
Our first stop was obviously coffee, so we went to Pyshechnaya which is a cafe set up like an old soviet style restaurant where all they sell is cheap coffee and one style of donut.
Next up we headed to the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood which is a breathtaking church best described as a gingerbread house - and if you think outside looks stunning - wait till you go inside and see the 1000's of mosaics lining the walls.
To find the best views in St Petersburg we recommend you head to St Isaac's Cathedral.
If you are looking for some of the best museums in the world - head to the Hermitage Museum (the Winter Palace) and also head to Catherines Summer Palace - both very grand and opulent.
If you want to try some Russian food - we recommend Советское кафе Квартирка - which is an old soviet style restaurant set up like an old soviet home. Amazing food - we recommend you try
We Tried Russian Food in St Petersburg
- Vareniki (Potatoes & Mushroom dumpling)
- Cherry Vareniki
- Pirzhok Pie (cabbage and egg)
- Rasstegai Pie (fish)
- Napoleon Cake with Custard
- Ukrainian Cottage Cheese Pancake
and finally 2 end your 2 days in St Pettersburg - head on a river boat to see the best views around the city :)

OMG we are in RUSSIA! Country #62. We went to the Izmailovsky Market (Izmalovskiy rynok) in Moscow. There's tons of Soviet antiques along with atrisan Russian goodies! For dinner we had our first Russian food which was what Nate referred to as Russian Empanadas. A local recommended them to us and they were delicious! They weren't easy to order, but totally worth the effort!
