With all its beauty and history the villa Baglio Sciacca (built in 1881 in Mazara del Vallo) is one of the most beautiful, traditional and attractive locations of the area. Among the rustling of the leaves of olive trees, the birds chirping and the scents of citrus, in a cool place. It is just 3 km away from the sea and the historic city centre.
An old place with a traditional atmosphere, with all the modern comforts, a pool, and air conditioning included. It was carefully renovated in the beginning of 2014.
Baglio Sciacca has a living space of 330 sq.m, with 8 bedrooms (air conditioned), 4 bathrooms, 3 bathrooms and the possibility for a sofa bed of bunk beds. Large Living room with fireplace, billiards, table tennis, dining table and TV area with sofa and Sky TV. Baglio Sciacca is divided internally into 3 detached apartments and a studio:
La Gilda (90 sq.m; 3 bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen);
La Corte (75 sq.m; 2 bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen);
La Torre (65 sq.m; 2 bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen);
La Mono (25 sq.m; 1 bedroom and bathroom).

Everything has been carefully renovated at the beginning of 2014, respecting their integration in the main structure. Possibility for each apartment to add 2 beds for a maximum of 20 people.
There is a private garden with a barbecue, a terrace with views of the sea, a pool surrounded by citrus trees, a solarium, and olive groves. You will also find a laundry room, 2000 sq.m of open spaces and private parking in a closed area. Each kitchen has been equipped with pots, dishes, fridge, an electric oven, a microwave, a 32' LCD TV, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. There are latex mattresses on wooden slats, sheets, pillowcases, pillows, and face and body towels included.
You will find beach chairs, sun loungers, high chairs, child booster seats, prams, baby bath tubs, cots and cribs free of charge (subject to availability).
For each additional service, typical Sicilian dinners, breakfasts, cab or shuttle service, trips, boat trips, massages, and pieces of advice regarding fresh fish or local wine will be always available to satisfy your needs.
The city of Mazara del Vallo is well-know for the amazing fish, the wonderful sea places and the the beauty of its countryside, with vast olive groves and vineyards. It is ideal for walking and cycling, surrounded by an aura of peace and serenity to enjoy your holiday.
It is just 3 km away from the sea and the historic centre, and 1 km away from the nearest supermarket. It is easily reachable, 2 km away from the A29 highway (Palermo-Mazara).
The access is easy and suitable for disabled people. This property is located in an excellent location for exploring all the wonders of the province of Trapani. It is only 3 km away from the beach of San Vito, 6 km away from the Pretola Lae and Gorghi Tondi Nature Reserve, 30 away from Selinunte (the biggest archaeological park in Europe). In addition there are many restaurants, pizzerias, well equipped bathing areas, sandy beaches, rocky beaches and cliffs, natural attractions, pubs, nightclubs, discotheques, and music clubs. It is also located 35 km away from the airport of Birgi (Trapani), close sites of great beauty such as Segesta Erice, Favignana, Marsala, Agrigento, Saline, the Rocche di Cusa, the Aeolian Islands, etc.

Dionysus (; Greek: Διόνυσος Dionysos) is the god of the grape-harvest, winemaking and wine, of fertility, ritual madness, religious ecstasy, and theatre in ancient Greek religion and myth. Wine played an important role in Greek culture, and the cult of Dionysus was the main religious focus for its unrestrained consumption. His worship became firmly established in the seventh century BC. He may have been worshipped as early as c. 1500–1100 BC by Mycenaean Greeks; traces of Dionysian-type cult have also been found in ancient Minoan Crete. His origins are uncertain, and his cults took many forms; some are described by ancient sources as Thracian, others as Greek. In some cults, he arrives from the east, as an Asiatic foreigner; in others, from Ethiopia in the South. He is a god of epiphany, the god that comes, and his foreignness as an arriving outsider-god may be inherent and essential to his cults. He is a major, popular figure of Greek mythology and religion, becoming increasingly important over time, and included in some lists of the twelve Olympians, as the last of their number, and the only god born from a mortal mother. His festivals were the driving force behind the development of Greek theatre.The earliest cult images of Dionysus show a mature male, bearded and robed. The god himself is drawn in a chariot, usually by exotic beasts such as lions or tigers, and is sometimes attended by a bearded, drunken Silenus. This procession is presumed to be the cult model for the followers of his Dionysian Mysteries. Dionysus is represented by city religions as the protector of those who do not belong to conventional society and he thus symbolizes the chaotic, dangerous and unexpected, everything which escapes human reason and which can only be attributed to the unforeseeable action of the gods.He is also known as Bacchus ( or ; Greek: Βάκχος, Bakkhos), the name adopted by the Romans and the frenzy he induces is bakkheia.
