An October rainy day at the Ikaho Ishidan (Stone Steps) in Shibukawa, Gunma Prefecture.
Ikaho Onsen - 2 hours away from Tokyo!
This is my highlights video from my weekend trip to Ikaho onsen with my friends. Ikaho is a quaint on town located in Gunma prefecture, 2.5 hours away on the JR Bus Kanto ( from Shinjuku.
Ikaho is well-known for it's 365 stone steps leading to Ikaho Shrine at the top, which offers fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. Of course, it's also famous for the hot spring baths available at various ryokan (traditional Japanese inns) around the town. We stayed at Hotel Todoroki ( which has a natural hot spring bath at the upper floor of the inn.
We also suggest checking out Hotel Tenbo ( You can visit their natural hot spring baths even without staying there as a guest.
In regards to the footage, it's the first time taking out my Zhiyun Crane-M stabilizer. I managed to get some beautiful stable footage using it.

In this video we’ll show you Ikaho Onsen (伊香保 温泉), Gunma.
Located in Shibukawa, Gunma prefecture, Ikaho is a hot spring town that is just as famous as the Kusatsu hot springs that represent Gunma.
Ikaho Onsen is known for being the hot springs town with many stone stairs. In the middle of the hot springs town, you will find a stone staircase with 365 steps. Along the sides, you will find many inns and souvenir shops standing side by side that will make you feel like you have slipped back in time to the Japan of 50 years ago.
Along the way, you will find foot baths, fountains to drink the water of the hot springs, and tea shops. It is the perfect spot to take a break and rest your feet or quench your thirst while exploring the area.
Here, we will introduce you the wonderful effects of the Ikaho hot springs, one-day hot springs facilities, and inns.

Went on a trip to Ikaho for some relaxation. This was our 2nd time to visit the place after two years and it hasn't changed not even one bit. Less crowd, chill, and lots of food around. So sit back and relax and enjoy the vid!

Mizusawa-dera Temple is located near mizusawa shibukawa machi, near Shibukawa City of Gunma Prefecture.
The temple is located near Ikaho hot springs and spa, so the temple is popular with people who visit the spa and other residents of the Shibukawa city.
The main deity at this temple is called Mizusawa Kannon.
Trip to Ikaho Gunma Japan Ghost Hunting Abandoned Haikyo Onsen Hotspring
A solo ghost hunting trip to Ikaho Gunma. I was originally going there to just relax in a hot spring but when I saw this building, I just had to try.
One strange thing that happened was at the end while recording, my phone just died. I'm always conscious of the battery so I know that it was at around 30 percent before it died but as I was recording the last segment, the Samsung logo just popped up on my screen and turned off. I wasn't able to turn it back on. When I got back to my hotel to charge it again, it was at zero percent. That has never happened before, usually it goes down to 15% then gives me the low light warning, then turns off at around 3%. I've had this phone for over a year and it hasn't happened again since making this video.
JR Shibukawa Station (JR 渋川駅）, Shibukawa City, Japan
JR Shibukawa Station （JR 渋川駅） is the gateway to Shibukawa, Mizusawa and Ikaho area. Mizusawa is known for it's awesome Mizusawa-dera temple, while Ikaho is known for it's hot springs and spa. This station is part of JR East and you can catch a regular JR train from here to Utsunomiya to transfer to a Shinkansen.
This station is located in Gunma Prefecture of Kanto Region in Japan.
While I was at this station, there happened to a street festival (Matsuri) going on, so I added the footage of the festival to this video.

Ikaho Onsen (伊香保温泉) is a hot spring town located on the eastern slopes of Mount Haruna. Known for its reddish brown, iron-laden thermal waters, Ikaho Onsen joins Kusatsu, Minakami and Shima Onsen as the four most famous hot spring resorts of Gunma Prefecture. The atmospheric old town area of Ikaho centers around the 300 meter long stone stairs which lead up through the middle of town and are lined by ryokan, old fashioned game arcades and shops.

Kali ini aku lg di Ikaho onsen terletak di kota Shibukawa yg didaerah pusat prefektur Gunma, salah satu tempat yg paling di kenal di ikaho onsen adalah tangga batunya sayang banget aku ngk terlalu ambil detail batunya guys gomenne, Back to the topik tangga batunya terdiri dari 365 anak tangga yang di buat sekitar 400 tahun yang lalu. Awalnya hanya 315 anak tangga guys, tp di tambah menjadi 365 anak tangga pada tahun 2010 dengan tujuan/mengharapakan kemakmuran....Kuil Ikaho jinja dapat kita temukan di puncak tangga gunung seperti yg ada di dlm video aku guys, kuil ini di bangun pada tahun 825 loh guys....
Semoga infonya bermanfaat yah guys bagi teman2 yg lagi di Jepang sempatin deh main kesini yakin lah bakalan ngk nyesel loh????
