‘Sea of fire’ races across field in Australia

A ‘sea of fire’ has ravaged a field near Adelaide as wildfires intensify in Australia.
Strong winds and high temperatures have made the situation even harder for firefighters as some residents in high danger areas abandoned their homes to head for the city.
More than 40 wildfires broken out in South Australia state, destroying homes and livestock.
In Victoria, authorities have declared a Code Red, the highest possible fire risk.

Woody Head Campground - Bundjalung National Park
Woody Head campground is set in the Bundjalung National Park amongst beautiful bush and right on the water. The rocky areas are gorgeous to explore on low tide. There are hot showers for $1 and the facilities are plentiful and clean. Sites are set out similar to a caravan park with fire pits strewn in amongst the sites and may be shared.

Indian Head Campground - Crowdy Bay National Park
The Indian Head campground is a large open area with a number of bush walks to explore. Only a 400m walk takes you to the historic Kylies Hut. There are drop toilets and cold showers, firepits and water available.

Lake Arragan, Yuraygir National Park, is nestled between open un-patrolled beach and a coastal lagoon system. The camp ground is a great spot for canoeing, swimming, fishing, wildlife watching and hiking.
Most sites are well protected by coastal scrub and some are grassed, but shade may be limited for some sites. Firewood is available at this campground on a user-pays basis and a NSW recreational fishing licence is required when fishing. This Site is located a short distance from Red Cliff campsite.
