who died at Epworth Eastern Hospital, Box Hill
at 3.30pm on 12 August 2015, aged 71 years.
His funeral took place at Immaculate Conception Parish, Hawthorn on 17 August, 2015. Fr Brian McCoy SJ was the principal celebrant, and was joined by Fr Chris Gleeson, Fr Des Dwyer, Fr Sacha Bermudez Goldman and priests of the Society of Jesus Australian Province and members of Fr Joe's family.
