Christians Living in Japan | Vlog #437
I cannot imagine what the 26 Japanese men had to undergo for their beliefs. Historically, Japan's Catholic/Christian population began when Portuguese settlers came to #Japan and began to spread Catholicism. The Emperor and Sumurais who ruled Japan at the time were ok with this at first, but soon changed their minds when they feared colonialism. So Christianity was forbidden, and any Japanese citizen caught practicing Christianity was persecuted. The 26 Martyrs Museum in #Nagasaki takes a look at the 26 Christian Japanese martyrs who died for their religion, and were later beautified by the Vatican, becoming #saints. We also have a delicious lunch at a Chinese restaurant serving local Japanese-fusion dishes.

Welcome to my daily vlogs! TRAVEL. FOOD. COMEDY. SINGING. ANTS. LIFE.
I upload a new video every day at 7AM EST!
About Me:
My bio is pretty random: In short, I am a professional singer/songwriter from Toronto, Canada who moved to Manila, Philippines which sorta became my Hollywood because my first Youtube channel MIKEYBUSTOSVIDEOS grew popular due to Filipino comedy videos. Meanwhile, I'm also a big biology geek who is obsessed with ants, so I built an internationally operating ant business supported by another popular channel called ANTSCANADA, and well basically, today I travel and tour around the world doing what I love so I wanted to start this vlogging channel, in hopes to encourage you guys to follow your dreams no matter how random, by showing you what happened when I followed mine! You just never know where life will take you when you listen to the yearnings of your heart!

Heritage Lost Harbour Grace, N.L.
On a deeper subconscious level, the loss of such a tangible cultural and historic scape is devastating. The town of Harbour Grace , N.L. was a strong narrative which not only provided a place to live in but gave each of us an identity, a sense of permanence and an attachment to where we belonged

Bird’s eye view
When Chris Lewis headed out to explore Harbour Grace Bay with his father on a crisp winter day during Christmas break, he didn’t go with the intention of creating a drone video staring the SS Kyle - but that’s what came out of their spontaneous excursion.
The SS Kyle is a 220-foot sailing vessel that ran aground in the town of Harbour Grace in 1967 after more than 50 years of transporting goods and residents from Carbonear to Coastal Labrador, even acting as a troop transport during World War II, bringing Newfoundland soldiers to Canada. Since that time, the vessel has been a tourist attraction for the area, but it has long fallen into disrepair.
Chris is a second-year College of the North Atlantic Journalism student and a native of Carbonear.
