SAMOA, EXPLORING APIA'S spectacular CATHOLIC CATHEDRAL (Pacific Ocean) ⛪
SUBSCRIBE: - Let's go for a quick tour of the magnificent catholic Cathedral in the beautiful capital of Samoa, the city of Apia. I visited this beautiful structure on several occasions and I regret that I could not videotape during Sunday mass!! Vic Stefanu, vstefanu@yahoo.com. Apia is the capital and the largest city of Samoa. From 1900 to 1919, it was the capital of the German Samoa. The city is located on the central north coast of Upolu, Samoa's second largest island. Apia is the only city in Samoa and falls within the political district (itūmālō) of Tuamasaga.
Samoa is an country comprising the westernmost group of the Samoan Islands, in Polynesia. Many of its islands have reef-bordered beaches and rugged, rainforested interiors with gorges and waterfalls. The islands include Upolu, home to most of Samoa's population, and Savai'i, one of the largest islands in the South Pacific. Smaller islands may have small villages or be uninhabited, some with wildlife sanctuaries.
