The Immigration Museum is a museum primarily displaying Australia's immigration history. It is located on Flinders Street in Melbourne, Victoria, in the Old Customs House. It is famous for its most important space, the Long Room, which is a notable piece of Renaissance Revival architecture.
The museum was founded in 1998, and is a division of Museums Victoria, which administers the cultural and scientific collections of the State of Victoria.Its sister museums are Melbourne Museum (including the Royal Exhibition Building) and Scienceworks Museum.
In addition to its work on documenting immigration history, the museum also hosts various travelling exhibitions, and also provides educational programs.

2 Migrant Children ABC Documentary 1970's ( Australian / Greek Family)
The ABC did a documentary on our family in the early 1970's about migrant children in Australia. The camera crew followed us around for a few months and filmed us at home, at school and the Victorian Markets. It shows my own Greek migrant family. My mom and dad working whilst we the kids look after themselves and go to school on our own. My (late) dad at Australian Motor Industries spot-welding Toyota Corollas whilst my mom worked at Playtex making bras and underwear. It also shows our Commer van which was pivotal in transporting the kids around (the first MPV?) to Greek school and back to their homes. It also shows Lee Street Primary School Carlton as the English School. Its filmed around Melbourne Victoria (Fitzroy, Gertrude Street Collingwood, Nicholson Street Carlton, Canning Street Carlton, Victoria Markets, etc).

Flinder Street Landmark in Melbourne Australia ( Travel Vlog )
Flinders Street is a notable street in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Running roughly parallel to the Yarra River, Flinders Street forms the southern edge of the Hoddle Grid. It is exactly 1 mi (1.609 km) in length and one and a half chains (99 ft, 30 m) in width. It is named for the explorer Matthew Flinders, erroneously credited with discovering Port Phillip at the time of its naming. It extends eastwards as far as Spring Street and the Treasury Gardens and westwards past Batman's Hill to the Melbourne Docklands. As the closest street to the river, Flinders Street serviced Melbourne's original river port. Customs House, now the site for Victoria's Immigration Museum, is on Flinders Street.
