Samrong Hospital has announced a new policy of providing services to social insurance strictly according to medical considerations. It will provide a high standard of treatment to all patients irrespective of individual financial status, race, sex or age in response to the government's concern regarding health and quality of life of people in the community.
Dr. Siripong Witayalertpanya, Director of Samrong Hospital said, Samrong Hospital wants to create a new standard for community hospitals, especially in providing treatment to social insurance patients. The hospital wants to change the image and perception of such patients that they receive an inferior service to others, when in fact, Samrong Hospital gives equal treatment to all patients, with only medical principles governing treatment. This year, the hospital is able to accept 100,000 social insurance patients. In addition, the hospital has a specific department to provide fast and convenient services to these social insurance patients.

STREETS OF PAK NAM | Samut Prakan Province, Thailand
This is the streets of Pak Nam in Samut Prakan province in Thailand.
Pak Nam is a small fishing town in Samut Prakan, Thailand. Samut Prakan is at the mouth of the Chao Phraya and Pak Nam in Thai means, mouth of a river.
It is a very localized area and not many tourists frequent this place. But hopefully with the newly extended BTS Skytrain that has just opened. It will bring more tourist to this area to help the local economy.
I actually like this area, it's somewhat busy, but not too overcrowded and the markets are pretty awesome.
Things here a quite cheap and you'll definitely be able to get your hand on some cheap fresh seafood.
HOW TO GET HERE
Take the BTS Skytrain to PAK NAM BTS STATION and walk south along PRAKHON CHAI RD. Keep to your right and the street will turn into SRI SAMUT RD.
This street is where you will find all the markets in Pak Nam.
Good luck & safe travels.

BangPoo Seafood Restaurant Chang Wat Samut Prakan Bangkok Thailand Ultra 4K
About 40 min drive from central Bangkok you will come across a province called Samut Prakan and you will find quite a few seafood restaurants along the shoreline one of them was BangPoo Seafood Restaurant. Food is great, nice sea views. Crowded sometimes. There is parking with no problems and we sat next to a waterfall I thought was fantastic. There were motorbikes making a lot of noise but that’s ok did not spoil the lunch. Food I thought was excellent at a good price.

PAK NAM MARKET | Pak Nam Market Pier In Samut Prakan Province, Thailand
Pak Nam market is a market that is sitting right by the Pak Nam Ferry Market Pier in Samut Prakan Province, Thailand.
This is actually a quite interesting and big market. Technically it is 3 different markets combined into one big market.
First, you have the Pak Nam Market, which sells clothes, utensils, and other household needs.
It then turns into a Pak Nam Fresh Market, where they sell all the meat and produce. But from what I saw, it mainly looks like all seafood. Which makes sense because this market is right by the harbor. So you'll definitely be able to get your hands on some fresh seafood and for cheap also.
Then right by the Pak Nam Fresh Market is Samut Prakan Market. Here you will find all your herbs and vegetables.
So this is the only place you'll need to go if you need to so do some grocery shopping in Pak Nam.
These markets are about 10-15min walk from Pak Nam BTS Station. Once you get off the BTS station, just head south and walk along Prakhon Chai Rd.
Prakhon Chai Rd will turn into Sri Samut Rd, keep following the road until you see Tharuea Vibun Si 2.
Turn right into that street and walk straight to the end and the market should be right in front of you.
Good luck & safe travels!
