COLOMBIA | LAND OF SABROSURA - Travel Bogota
On our 2nd day in Bogota, we toured with Impulse Travel and explored Colombia, land of Sabrosura! Our day included a one on one with local artists and learning the traditional cumbia song and dance. Bogota Colombia is an amazing place that has given birth to such incredible music over the years. Carlos Vives is one of the pride and joys of the country :)

From Ex-Gang Members to Tour Guides: Breaking Borders in Bario Egipto, Bogota, Colombia
Breaking Borders Tour is unlike any other tour in Colombia. Run by a group of ex-gang members in Egipto neighbourhood of Bogota, the tour is a true reflection of the positive impact that tourism can have on the lives of the young men that are choosing to say no to crime and yes to positive interactions with tourists.
The Breaking Borders tour visits a small slum called Bario Egipto, located just a short walk away from La Candelaria in Bogota. The tour is lead by ex-gang members who share stories of their life in the bario, insights of the realities of crime and poverty in their neighbourhood, and allow you to experience life in Bogota like you haven't before.
Fascinating, eye-opening and incredibly humbling...this is an experience every visitor to Bogota must have!

Travel to Bogota Colombia ♡ Queenjezabel
My name is Queenjezabel , married, 35 years old. We are resident of Turks&Caicos Islands located in Caribbean and living 100 meters from the turquoise ocean water. We are traveling a lot and I like to share my experiences with all of you. As my husband is Canadian and I am Filipina we also have a foot in both countries which we visit on a regular base. On top of traveling for pleasure or visit my kids, my husband also have to work in Canada, USA, Brazil and Colombia which is the main reason why we are traveling so much and we are rarely in the same country for more than 3 weeks. I hope that you will enjoy to share my traveling experiences and I will appreciate to receive your comments if you like or not. Thank you for your interest and support which I considered as motivation.

IMPULSE Travel - Booking Booster 2019 application video.
Impulse removes fear barriers by influencing traveler and locals to embrace otherness though cultural exchange and supporting local peace leaders to keep destinations safe.
---------------------
Since the peace agreement was signed in Colombia in 2016, we felt a calling. We want to make regenerative tourism a key industry for our country’s transition into a stable and lasting peace. In early 2017, we made a small shift that made a big impact: Integrating Peace Leaders and Culture Guardians in our value chain. From then, we have gradually been successfully integrating more key stakeholders and the results have been amazing.
We want to apply to Booking Booster because we want to radically scale our impact, and their support, resources and experience would be the fastest track to achieve that.

-Botero Museum
-Tabula Restaurant (Anthony Bourdain recommendation) Best food I had ever.

Ryan & Abbie go PARAGLIDING in Colombia!
Paragliding again after an accident? Super long cross-country flights? And landing in a military zone? (Eeek!) This week's video is all about Ryan and Abbie's paragliding trip outside of Cali, Colombia.
A big thanks to the amazing pilots and instructors at Eagle Paragliding for taking good care of them! (This video is totally not sponsored, I'm just grateful that awesome people were keeping them safe during their crazy escapades, LOL!).

WHO WE ARE
About 6 years ago, our family decided it was time for something a little different… we said goodbye to our home and hello to the open road as we journeyed around the world together for a year. We came back changed people, and couldn’t quite shake the sense of wonder that had developed in us as we explored new places, met new people, and experienced new cultures.
We decided to make travel a consistent part of our family’s life, and these days you’ll find our little tribe of 2 parents and 5 kids - ages 3 to 14 - on the road as often as possible, as we run our businesses and worldschool our kids.
Our videos share our attempt to explore the world as authentically and adventurously as possible. We hope you’ll join us as we chase wonder around each new bend in the road!
