Kata Ji’in and Bunkai
Ji'in, Jion, and Jitte belong to one group of a total of 27 Kata in Shotokan, Ji'in is often being referred to as the forgotten Kata, because it is rarely practiced and seen in tournaments nowadays. This Kata and Bunkai was shown at the 4th Nikolauscup of Karate Dojo Lich in Hesse, Germany.
The experimental overcapture footage was captured with the GoPro Fusion 360 camera in 5.2k. Post processing was done in Fusion Studio and Adobe Premiere with the GoPro Reframe Plugin.

Laser Cut Japanese Wood Join
Part of my Harvard Thesis, this Join was designed in Digital Project is a complex japanese mortice and tenon wood join. The wood was laser cut to suit the exact thickness of the material and then shaped together to create a structural connection.
