Kamiiso-no-Torii Gate【Zekkei Ibaraki】

At the land called Kamiiso where God was said to have once descended from heaven, stands a Torii Gate.

It is one of the Torii Gates of Oarai Isosaki Jinja, which is located on a platform close to the shore.

Built during 856 A.D., the Oarai Isosaki Jinja has a long enriched history.
The gods enshrined are believed from ancient times to be the guardians for protecting households and safety on the ocean.

Rising sun lights up the gate as the raging waves of the Pacific Ocean break on the shore reef, and white foams splashing into the air, it is a truly sacred scenery to look at.

皆さんこんにちは！今回は京都でたまたま遭遇した素敵なお寺での冒険です。ホッズは冒険が大好き♪彼は普段あまりしゃべらないのに、この日はあまりの喜びにずっと喋りまくってた((´∀｀))おかげさまで翻訳が大変だったよ！とても楽しい一日でした♡

We bumped into this secret temple and garden in Kyoto♡ It was so beautiful, calming and relaxing! But it was full of creepy insects and mushrooms! Great adventure!

هو معبد صغير و حوليه في حديقة فيها فطريات و حشرات كتير. جميلة بس مش لأصحاب .القلوب الضعيفة

Ibaraki Cycling Tour 2014

Bike Trip #3: A 3-day solo bike tour in Ibaraki, Japan; including mountains, rivers, the ocean, rice fields and more. All photos shot using iPhone 4 and GoPro Hero 3 (Silver).

Summer in Sapporo | Otaru Canal and Music Box Museum

For Day 4, we visited the beautiful city #OTARU. It's known for the seafood, the #OtaruCanal, the glass shops and souvenir shops, the Music Box museum, and the colorful buildings with western influences. We went there from probably 10am till before it got dark, around 5pm. Technically spent the whole day there. We used trains for transpo and basically DIYed the tour. Everything is all walking distance from each other and their is a tourist center right at the Otaru Canal just in case google maps doesn't work. The day was very calm and refereshing. Otaru is definitely a must when you visit #Hokkaido.
