122- Suriname is in South America?
Up until a few years ago I thought Suriname was in Africa, but, as we now know, it is on the north coast of South America. Suriname feels very different from the other countries in South America because the population is composed of many different cultures. For example, I was able to find Indian, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese food, as well as numerous other options. As I mentioned previously, the people truly are kind and helpful.
During my stay in the capital city, Paramaribo, I visited Independence Square, also known as Onafhankelijksplein Square (the name is 25 letters long!). ????
