INDIA'S FIRST LUXURY CRUISE | ANGRIYA CRUISE MUMBAI TO GOA | MUMBAI TO GOA| TRAVEL TRICKS
India's first luxury cruise line is ready to take on its maiden journey between Mumbai and Goa on October 1, according to a report by the Times of India. This will mark the revival of passenger sailing service between the two destinations which last operated in 1991.
According to the report, a ship named Angriya will be used for the luxury cruise service between Mumbai and Goa. It was registered as Ogasawara Maru in Japan and was later renamed as Ogasa in Pacific Islands. It can carry up to 400 passengers. The service was originally meant to begin from August, but it was later postponed to December.
The luxury cruise line between Mumbai and Goa will take 15 hours to reach from one port to another and will not make any stops in between. The ship will depart from the two ports on alternate days on 5:0pm. Bookings can be done in seven categories. The minimum fare per person has been pegged at Rs 7,500, which includes all meals. The fares for other categories are yet to be decided, but they too will include brunch and other meals, the report said.

At least 45 people, including 10 crew members were rescued from drowning near the Arabian Sea in Mumbai. The members were travelling on a boat from the Gateway of India to Elephanta Island, when the accident took place. Reports suggest that the boat lost balance mid-route and began to capsize. All the people inside the boat were rescued after marathon operation.

Boats & Ships at Mumbai Sea Shore, Ferry Ride, Yatchs and Indian Navy Ships
So, While I was taking the Ferry Ride at Mumbai Gateway of India, I recorded it including the other boats, yatchs and navy ships standing there. It was a small trip on the water near gateway of India. The video was taken one handed with camera and thus not much stable.

A major tragedy was avoided on Sunday evening, when a yacht with more than 35 people on board, began sinking in the Arabian Sea. Fortunately, those on board a ferry boat nearby that was headed towards the Gateway of India from the Elephanta Caves, heard the screams of its passengers and rescued them. There were 30 people and five crew members on the yacht that had been hired for a party from the organisers who did not allegedly have permission for the same.

it depends on the room type. The room shown in the vlog is called the OCEAN VIEW ROOM. also it depends on the trip uh opt for. I had opted for 2 nights cruise in ocean view room nd it costs around 20k per person. Interior room costs 18k per person. Balcony room is around 23k nd the mini suite is 25k.

Elephanta Caves are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a collection of cave temples predominantly dedicated to Hindu god Shiva.
Ferry ticket Cost Rs.180/- PP (Return ticket) if you wanna sit at the deck you have to pay 10rs extra pp.After reaching elephanta island, Entrance Ticket is Rs. 5/- pp (No need to take a guide or Guide Book from the Stall) Once you reach the top again you have to pay Enter Charges Rs. 30/- pp.

Crafting India’s 120-Foot-Long Snake Boats
Four hundred years ago, the snake boats of India were warships, used by battling kings along the backwaters of Kerala. Today, the long, canoe-like boats are used exclusively for racing. Reaching up to 120 feet in length, each snake boat can accommodate 100 rowers. In the town of Aranmula, snake boat racing takes on a special significance. The boats are known as Palliyodam and represent the snake upon which Lord Vishnu—the god of protection and preservation—rests. Creating these ornate works involves an intricate process. Master craftsman Santhosh Achari invites us into his workshop to see why it takes nine months—and a keen sense of rhythm—to handcraft one snake boat.

The day 14 of all India 29 states + Bhutan + Myanmar Ride.
The ride along the coastal line was simply amazing with some beautiful scenes.The day 14 started from Mumbai ( Bhaucha Dhakka ) .We loaded our bikes onto a ferry to reach Revas.2nd ferry we took from Rajapuri to reach Dighi and ended the day at Diveagar to witness the mesmerizing sunset at Diveagar beach.

This is what you call a ride of a lifetime.On 28th march 2016 I started something which I will cherish for years to come.It took 112 days to complete this feat, Travelled almost all part of the country including Bhutan and a one village of Mayanmar ( Tamu ).Rode my motorcycle through Forests, Villages, Cities, Valleys, Rivers, Streams, Nallas, Slush, Rain, Snowfall and many more but everything was the part of my life on road.Met with some extraordinary peoples, Made lot's n lot's of friends all over the country.I don't have enough words to thank you all who joined me on this ride virtually or rode with me to show how beautiful our country India is.India is a vast country with many unbelievable hidden places to explore and 4 months are really very less to cover everything.I tried to explore as much as I can in those 112 days but had to skip many places due to lack of time.I hope to cover all the places in near future whichever left in this long journey.
I would like to thank everyone for their help and support throughout in this mega ride.

Global marine manufacturers are eyeing India's financial capital as their next big market.
At Mumbai's first international boat show (22- 25 February, 2007), visitors got a taste of the opulent hi-life as dozens of motor boats and sleek-bodied luxury yachts lined up to entice them.
STORYLINE:
Clearly targeting India's top net-worth individuals , nearly 50 boat manufacturers showcased their wares at the event.
The main event was held in the exhibition grounds of Bandra-Kurla Complex.
More than 20 luxury yachts and boats were displayed on the waters opposite the Gateway of India .
Organisers say nearly 100 powerboats were sold in Mumbai during the last year and a half - a clear indication the market has great potential.
Maneck Contractor , a boat builder from the western state of Goa , said low labour and manufacturing costs also make India an attractive hub not just for selling but also for building boats.
With a booming economy and a rapidly growing list of millionaires, the Indian market seems ready to check out the best deals in the business.
Those who can afford them can either purchase the luxury boats or charter them.
Global companies say while the infrastructure to support a thriving yachting culture may not be there yet, educating the rich and famous potential buyers through such shows will definitely yield good results.
