The Waterfalls Of Indian Mound Reserve In Cedarville Ohio. 1/28/2018
This is a video I took when Lori Wehner and I went hiking at Indian Mound Reserve in Cedarville Ohio the other day. This area is home to numerous waterfalls like Cedar Cliff Falls, and the waterfalls of The Lower Gorge Trail. The waterfalls in the gorge are my favorite. Here you find a layered waterfall pattern, this is the top layer and it flows down and spreads out into two larger waterfalls. I hope you enjoy my videos as much as I love taking them. :);)

Tranquility At Indian Mound Reserve In Cedarville Ohio On New Years Day.
This is a video I took when Lori Wehner and I took a waterfall phototrip to Indian Mound Reserve in Cedarville Ohio on New Years Day 2017. Cedar Cliff Falls is the main waterfall, it is very beautiful. It reminds me of a small Niagra Falls because of its flow and the mist below. But this section of the gorge trail has many waterfalls. It is my favorite spot and I have been photographing for years. A most see if you ever visit there. ;)
The Waterfalls of Indian Mound Reserve. 1/26/2016
This is a set of videos I took of the waterfalls at Indian Mound Reserve in Cedarville Ohio when Lori Wehner and I did a winter hike there. I really like Cedarcliff falls, it reminds me of a mini version of Niagra Falls. It has the mist, somewhat of the shape, and it has the flow of water. I have been photographing this waterfall for years and it has never let me down. :) The waterfalls of the Lower Gorge Trail is a real treat! Mutiple waterfalls in one area. A very beautiful spot.
Williamson Mound - Cedarville, Ohio
Nestled away in the woods next to Massie's Creek is the Williamson Mound. It is a slightly oval shaped mound that stands roughly 3 stories tall. Built by the ancient Adena Native Americans, Williamson Mound has been silently sitting there for thousands of years. Across the river you can find the Pollock Works, which were built sometime after the mound by the Hopewell culture. Tune into Mike Does History for more historical sites!
Indian Mound Reserve Dayton, Ohio Hiking
Here is a quick video of some of the things we saw while visiting the Indian Mound Reserve, near Wilberforce University in Dayton Ohio. Definitely a surprisingly beautiful place just a short drive from downtown. Reminds me of the Hocking Hills Area in Eastern Ohio.

Me and a friend drove to Cedarville Ohio today to see the waterfalls there. This is CedarCliff Falls in the Indian Mound Reserve area. I climbed down to get a better video. ;)

I have photographed and videotaped this waterfall many times over the years and always love seeing and hearing it roar. It reminds me of a smaller version of Niagara Falls. :)

Top 5 Indian Mounds in Ohio
Here are the top 5 Indian Mounds in Ohio. The first settlers in the Ohio area were the Adena Native Americans (800 BCE–100 AD), who were known for their mounds. I traveled around Southwestern Ohio visiting these mounds and learning about the Adena Culture and those that followed, such as the Hopewell (200 BCE–500 AD), and Fort Ancient (1000–1750 AD) cultures.

The power and beauty of Cedarcliff Falls in Cedarville Ohio. 3/6/2014 (#1)
I took three different videos of Cedarcliff Falls in Cedarville Ohio to let you experience just as I did (and will again) the beauty, sound and the power of Cedarcliff Falls. This video was taken just off the trail leading to the top of the falls. There is a little fence there looking out over the falls. The closer you get to the falls the more you can feel the vibration in the ground from the power of the water rushing over. AWSOME!!! If you like this video I know you will love the next two videos. I got a little close. :);)
