Here are some shots from Ingonish, Nova Scotia in the Cape Breton Highlands. Ingonish is divided into 5 smaller communities and this video includes footage throughout the area.

It is important to note that parts of Ingonish are located within the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. Drone flying is not permitted inside the park unless you have special permission. If you plan to fly in the area please make sure it is outside the park - where there are plenty of places to fly.

Cabot Trail: Pleasant Bay to Ingonish, Cape Breton Island

Enjoy the scenic drive along the northern and eastern sides of the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia. This drive begins at my B&B in Pleasant Bay, and heads east, then south along the Cabot Trail, ending at the Franey Trail hiking trailhead. It's a great hike, I highly recommend it.

I made this trip in early October, 2016. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera, mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras - one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).
