INNER MONGOLIA Racing 800 Horses on the Grasslands
I went to Inner Mongolia to check out the China Inner Mongolia Horse Racing Event, slap bang in the middle of Hohhot's Huhetala grasslands. I also managed to bump into (and scare) one of China's most famous celebrities before cornering him for a photo. Unfortunately, my attempts to pick a winner in the races didn't turn out as I had expected. However, seeing 800 Mongolian Horses run free, led by Wu Jing at the front, was like a scene from a movie!

The Winning Post with a special episode from the China Equine Cultural Festival 2015 in Singapore
On this episode, we travel to the buzzing city-state of Singapore where the first ever China Equine Cultural Festival (CECF) was held outside of China at the Kranji Turf Club.
Conceptualized as a means of introducing the cultural and lifestyle aspect of horseracing to the Chinese people, the CECF was first held in Inner Mongolia in Hohhot in 2013 and then progressed to the Yangtze Delta Region in Shanghai in 2014. With the turn of the calendar it was time for the China Horse Club to turn a new leaf and the CECF Singapore 2015 was its first step.
The event strategically timed around the Chinese New Year, saw the best of all that makes horseracing – glamour, lifestyle, presence and scale with Christophe Soumillon, Louis Romanet, John Magnier, John Warren and other horse racing heavyweights in attendance.

A airplane from Loong Air was seen suddenly starting to back up on the apron of the Baita International Airport in Hohhot, capital of north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, on July 12, 2017. A staff quickly raced toward the plane and put a brake in order to avoid accident.
No one was on the airplane at the time. The accident did not affect other flights or passengers. The Civil Aviation Administration of China is reportedly investigating the incident.
