THAILAND Ratchaprapha Dam | Travel Tour by Tudor and Heather
OUR FIRST TRAVEL TOUR TO THAILAND ????????
How to travel KHAO SOK NATIONAL PARK without joining a travel agency?
WE HAD VISITED.
* Bangkok
* Phuket
* And Khao Sok National Park
ACTIVITIES.
* Thai cuisine food, local restaurants, and local cafés
* Night markets
* Road trips, sightseeing
The first purpose we wanted – TO BE FREE and DON'T depend on others or join the tour guide. We follow our own way to discover different new things.
✨SO WE EXPLAIN HOW!
If you want to travel independently: first you need to have a mindset. The mindset is thinking before the acting part. So when you choose a location is important that you should follow your inner point of interest. In other words, you choose what you want to visit and not what other people say. With this mindset, you will have a different perspective of seeing/ learning things.
????We have chosen Ratchaprapha dam, a place where is a little bit far away from fancy, clubs, beaches, and tourist loaded Phuket. We packed our bags into the car and headed 4h to this destination. It was an absolutely inspiring experience of driving and learning a new culture in such a short time of 7 days. We interacted and talked with local people, to find out their motivation and happiness.
???? One experience to share from a singer in the neighborhood restaurant: In the end, Tudor was chatting to the singer and discovered that the singer has positive thoughts and very touching sounds how he had sung. We wanted to buy his CD, but he hasn't. He enjoys singing, he feels thankful what he has in life rather than being a famous singer.????
What we learned from our travel, that people in Thailand are very happy and motivated even they don't have too many things. They are very blessed with what they have. AND most importantly they don't strive for a big house, big money, they strive for happiness.
Thailand has gratitude, which we all need to cut a piece of it.
This was our plan and it becomes true.
Hope this could bring you some inspiration to your heart. ❤️
Thanks for watching & reading our story ????

Surat Thani Airport Southern Thailand - Koh Samui Ferry Transport
A quick view of Surat Thani Airport in Southern Thailand.
This small airport is a cheap way to fly to Bangkok or anywhere else around Thailand.
It is a cheap way to fly to other areas from Koh Samui, as flying out of Koh Samui can be expensive because Bangkok Air owns the airport, so they charge high prices to fly in and out.
If you catch the ferry from Koh Samui to Surat Thani then it is an inexpensive way to get to your other destination.
You can also fly to other Asian countries from the Surat Thani airport.

KHAO SOK NATIONAL PARK - Thailand’s Best Day Trip, Cheow Lan Lake
Just two hours north of Krabi Thailand, Khao Sok National Park is hands down Thailand’s best day trip! Don’t miss Cheow Lan Lake where you can boat around massive limestone cliffs and glistening turquoise water. Khao Sok is truly the best of Thailand.
We hired a private boat for 1500 Thai Baht (around $45 USD) for a two hour tour around Cheow Lan Lake. There were barely any other tourists out on the lake so we really felt like we had the entire national park to ourselves. Our boat driver took us around Khao Sok Lake where we stopped at the Khao Sok floating bungalows to take a swim. That’s where Ryan decided to throw fish food in the water surrounding me so about 1,000 huge fish swarmed around me to eat! That was gross.
Other than the near “DeathbyFish”, we urge you to go to Khao Sok National Park because it is easily one of the best things to do in Thailand. Khao Sok is located in Surat Thani, about two hours north of Krabi Thailand and 3 hours north of Phuket. The close proximity to southern Thailand’s main tourist destinations makes it perfect for day trips in Thailand.
The popularity of Khao Sok National Park is just beginning, so it’s still considered one of the unexplored Thailand hot spots. Most locals we spoke to had never been to the park. If a day trip to Khao Sok is too ambitious for you, there are some amazingly immersive places to stay in Khao Sok including a handful of Cheow Lan Lake bungalows to choose from and mountain resorts deep within the national park’s forest.
We stayed in Krabi for 30 days and we wanted to explore more than the typical tourists islands that everyone heads to, so Cheow Lan Lake was a perfect Thailand island alternative.
* We’re Ryan & Stacia from DeathbyVlog. Unlike other travel vloggers, we live and work in a different country each month. Our channel will show you what it’s like to live abroad while exploring top tourist destinations and hidden gems. We will eat local cuisine but still find the best spots to have American food while overseas. Each month we rent an apartment or airbnb in a different city or country, so follow along on this journey and learn about countries around the world. We hope you enjoy our travel vlog, don’t forget to subscribe!

Nostalgic Films Present: A Week In Cheow Lan
Deep in Khao Soo National Park, Thailand, lies numerous wild river systems that are home to the Mahseer and Sebarau, amidst the overwhelmingly rich biodiversity the reserve has to offer. These rivers sustain the rich, turquoise-coloured Cheow Lan Lake, which brings life to the flora and fauna of this region.
Wild animals roam freely in jungles and rivers of the reserve, including elephants, black panthers, hogs, Indian bisons, Malayan sun bears and tigers.
After spending a week in the wilderness of Cheow Lan, Thailand, from the treacherous terrain, relentless horse flies and leeches, and harrowingly escaped from a charging pair of wild adult elephants from 30m only to be saved by a warning gunshot from our guide, this photo album documents some of the amazing scenes we have encountered in the 5-day expedition.
I would like thank Lao Tan, Ric Tang, Liu Boh Fang and (old man) David for being such awesome travel and flyfishing companions! It was truly an amazing expedition and I thoroughly enjoyed and learnt much from it.

The journey through Bangkok continues from Nong Kai to Koh Tao | The Muay Thai diary goes South
As we continue our martial art trip from Nong Khai back to Bangkok, despite unforeseable surprises, we are still on the hunt for that real deal badass Muay Thai Camp experience in Thailand. Traveling to the birth place of Muay Thai , also known as „The art of eight limbs“, is still fairly new to me since we have been out here in South East Asia for only about week. To be honest, since I started practising Muay Thai, I have become so curious about other martial arts styles like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Taekwondo and Grappling. But first things first, let me see where we`ll end up in the next Thailand episode of The Muay Thai Diary!
Don´t forget to make the best out of your day- today!

The Muay Thai Diary is a channel about my newly discovered passion for martial arts, and most of all as the name says it...Muay Thai boxing.
Only five months ago a friend of mine, also my trainer to be, introduced me to Muay Thai boxing and I got hooked straight away. This YouTube is about sharing the process of learning from scratch, expanding your physical and mental horizon, outgrowing yourself and evolving in order to become a better version of yourself. Of course you can get fit, lean or even shredded through training, but for me personally the fact that my ability to focus and discipline myself and achieve a much better inner balance is the biggest benefit so far. Soon after starting my trainer challenged me to travel to Thailand as a team in order to train at a traditional Muay Thai Camp. I´d like to take you a long to my journey and training experience through Bangkok, Udon Thani and Chiang Mai.

THE TIME WAS 1987, I was a 24-year-old NCO in the USAF being assigned to Clark AB, RP. President Ferdinand Marcos had just been removed from power the year before and President Corazon Aquino had just taken control of the Filipino government. “THE PI”, I had heard stories of the Philippines and Southeast Asia from my Uncles who served in the Vietnam War and fellow airmen who had been stationed there. I have to tell you that some of the stories were unbelievable, until I arrived.
I immediately fell in love with Southeast Asia. Where else in this world could you be immediately be pushed into the Upper Middle Class Living at military personal pay? All who served and their dependents enjoyed a Lifestyle on appreciated by the Rich and Wealthy living in the United States of America.
I spent a total of 3 years at Clark, “The PI”, before being Honorably Discharge from the USAF and returning to Los Angeles, CA USA.
For almost 30 years I have trying to return to Southeast Asia and live the life that I remember. In 2013 my whole life changed when a close friend of mine re-introduced Me to Southeast Asia and I haven’t looked back since.
This is my story, a US Veteran trying to live a better life in retirement than he can possibly have here in the United States of America.
So, come along and follow me while I “Follow the Journey” to a “Peace of Mind World”.
Summary:
On my channel you will be seeing Lifestyle videos during my journey like:
What do you do for entertainment now?
What events do you go to?
How do I cook something simple?
How do I get to the airport cheap?
What are the best airlines to travel?
What do I need to drive in Thailand?
*This is just a short list of topics that my videos will cover so come along for the ride.

After anticipating towards this trip to Thailand for over several months, we have reached our final destination. It felt as if I was about to study „The art of eight limbs“ from scratch, as Muay Thai Boxing is also referred to. Only an hour flight from Bangkok to Udon Thani and a another hour by car, close to Nong Khai we have made it to „Ba Na Hi Muay Thai Camp“. There are countless extremely popular Muay Thai gyms throughout Thailand like „Tiger Muay Thai“ the „Buakaw Banchamek Gym“ and „Sitsong Peenong Phuket Muay Thai“. Far away from any tourist attractions, mass populated sight seeings or crowded nightlife, we will be training, eating and living right by the open air ringside, surrounded by dry rice fields with up to 45 degrees and almost 80 percent humidity.
Marc, a former teacher, who decided to stay in Thailand about eight years ago will be our host. After meeting his wife, who is a former fighter, they decided to reopen her father’s gym.
Getting up 6am, after an almost sleepless night to start the training with a 30 minute jogging session, ten minutes jumping on the tires, followed by another two hour training session twice a day was our daily routine. I welcomed the fact, that our training was heavily focusing on kicking and clinching technique, repeating the drills over and over again in ordert to internalise the movements and improve our skills.
Personally my biggest challenge withing the first week was to adjust to the tropical climate and food. Even though I really enjoyed the taste of it, my body needed time to cope. Also getting used to different scents and noises of all kinds of animals through out the night, made it quite hard to get a good rest, despite of wearing ear plugs.
Stay tuned with us on „ The Muay Thai Diary“ by LEO NI LEO in ordert o find out how the rest of our trip will unfold.
