#TraveltoEurope#Train#AfricatoEurope
This is a video guide to the journey from Tangier in Morocco to Madrid in Spain, via the FRS fast ferry from Tangier to Tarifa and Renfe's morning 'Altaria' train from Algeciras to Madrid Puerta de Atocha.
The video shows the famous Continental Hotel in Tangier, the ferry and train interiors and the scenery along the way. Note that the train segment is the same as that on the Gibraltar-Madrid video, so don't bother watching both train parts!

Morocco is a country in North Africa, south of Spain, with a coastline on both the North Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
As one of the most diverse nations on the continent, it’s easy to see why Morocco has long been a popular holiday destination. The dunes of the Sahara Desert and the highest mountains in North Africa dominate the south, while a ruggedly beautiful coastline and lush plains lie to the north
Spain is a beautiful and diverse country located in the south west of Europe. As a country well known for its beaches, the geographical and cultural diversity in Spain often comes across as a surprise to its visitors.
This exotic country really has it all, from lush meadows, green valleys and hills to snowy mountains and almost desert zones in the South. No wonder Spain ranks the third most visited European country.
In terms of getting to Spain by ferry, with the North, East and South sides of the country facing the Sea, there’s no shortage of options. From the UK, there are regular scheduled crossings available and though the crossings on offer are long, the ships are cruise like in standard which makes for an extremely pleasant trip. The same applies to the connection across the Mediterranean Sea from Italy.
The term Afro European or Afro-European refers to Europeans who trace at least part of their ancestry to Sub-Saharan Africa, or former European colonies in Africa in general

Gnaoua music is a Moroccan artistic heritage
“Gnawa” or “Gnawa” or “Gnawa” are an ethnic group in Morocco descended from the slave dynasty brought in the golden age of the Moroccan Empire (late 16th century AD) from Western Black Africa, then called Western Sudan or the Empire of Ghana (Mali state). The Gnaoua designation is a misrepresentation of the original name which was “Kenya” (Guinea), or the slaves of Guinea as they were always called, before their full integration into Moroccan society, and the “Gnaoui method” still exists in many towns and villages. Moroccan, even today, especially in the cities of Marrakech, Essaouira and Rabat The city of Essaouira enjoys the status of the spiritual city of the sect within Morocco. It has been the sea port of the city since the 17th century, an important trade center on the Atlantic coast, and a point of trade with Timbuktu, the capital of black Muslim Africa at the time, from where slaves were arriving with gold to Morocco. 1]
The mausoleum of Sidi Belal, west of Essaouira, is the supreme authority and the sanctuary of the spiritual father of Gnaoua. Within the mausoleum of that governor, there is a corner that embraces on the twentieth of the month of Sha'baan the annual season of the Gnaoui community. In intercity tours to collect donations and charity for the corner, her distinctive folklore dress with living colors, especially red and blue. The Gnaoua fame as musicians has gone beyond the Moroccan borders to embrace the world since it began organizing an annual festival of Gnaoua and World Music in Essaouira in June. The secret is that it is not just ordinary music, it is a music with strong rhythms loaded with the weight of myths and beliefs. In the foot, it is charged with the African, Berber and Arab cultural heritage.

Rabat-Casablanca, Morocco
Rabat is the capital of Morocco and its seventh largest city center with an urban population of approximately 580,000 (2014)[3] and a metropolitan population of over 1.2 million.
It is also the capital of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra administrative region.
The city is located on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the river Bou Regreg.
On the facing shore of the river lies Salé, the city's main commuter town. Rabat, Temara, and Salé form a conurbation of over 1.8 million people.
Silt-related problems have diminished Rabat's role as a port; however, Rabat and Salé still maintain important textile, food processing and construction industries.
In addition, tourism and the presence of all foreign embassies in Morocco serve to make Rabat one of the most important cities in the country.
Once a reputed corsair haven, Rabat served as one of the many ports in North Africa for the Barbary pirates, who were particularly active from the 16th through the 18th centuries.
Rabat is accessible by train through the ONCF system and by plane through the nearby Rabat–Salé Airport.
The Moroccan capital was ranked at second place by CNN in its Top Travel Destinations of 2013.
It is one of four Imperial cities of Morocco, and the medina of Rabat is listed as a World Heritage site.
Casablanca is the largest city of Morocco, located in the northwestern part of the country on the Atlantic Ocean.
It is also the largest city in the Maghreb, as well as one of the largest and most important cities in Africa, both economically and demographically.
Casablanca is Morocco's chief port and one of the largest financial centers on the African continent.
The 2012 census, adjusted with recent numbers, recorded a population of about 4 million in the prefecture of Casablanca.
Casablanca is considered the economic and business center of Morocco, while the national political capital is Rabat.
The leading Moroccan companies and international corporations doing business there have their headquarters and main industrial facilities in Casablanca.
Recent industrial statistics show Casablanca retains its historical position as the main industrial zone of the country.
The Port of Casablanca is one of the largest artificial ports in the world, and the largest port of North Africa.
It is also the primary naval base for the Royal Moroccan Navy.
