LITTLE BLUE FAIRY PENGUINS Feeding @ International Antarctic Centre in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Depending on which side of the Tasman you stem from will determine what you call these little flightless birds. The go by the name of Fairy or little or Blue or Little Blue as they are the smallest of the Penguin species.
The feeding you will see in this video was taken at the International Antarctic Centre in Christchurch, New Zealand. It was great to be able to get in depth knowledge of this Penguin as well as hear about the different nature and habits each of their Penguins has! If you are ever in Christchurch the International Antarctic Centre is an absolute must see regardless of age or size of group.
These Penguins are generally only around 30cm in height and weigh around 1kg. The best place to see these Penguins is along the southern coastlines of Australia and New Zealand with the largest (Tourist) site being at Philip Island's (1.5 hours drive from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia) Penguin Parade, a large tourist attraction that brings people together each night wrapped in blankets etc on the beach watching the Penguins arrive back home from their day at sea fishing (penguins.org.au). The same thing can be done in countless coastal areas of Aus & NZ but just not to the same scale as Phillip Island which certainly has it's positives and negatives.
Over the years we have seen them arrive home at St. Kilda Pier (Melbourne), Warrnambool (Victoria), Victor Harbour (South Australia), Penguin Island (Western Australia), Milford Sound (New Zealand) & Bruny Island (Southern Tasmania).
For more info please check out -
They are amazing Penguins and it is an ever going struggle to keep them safe due to how vulnerable they are to basically everything so the work that the Antarctic Centre in Christchurch as well as many other places are doing for them is amazing and we support them at any chance we get.

Hello Friends
Antarctic Centre me bahoot maza aya hamne penguin bhi dekhe
-25 Chill bhi feel kiya jesa loog antarctica me thandi feel karte hai.
The Centre is home to the New Zealand, United States and Italian Antarctic Programmes and comprises administration offices, warehousing, an American/New Zealand clothing store, a post office and travel agency, the Antarctic Passenger Terminal and the Visitor Centre, now called 'The Antarctic Attraction'.
It is for this last item that the centre is best known, as it forms a significant tourist attraction. 'The Antarctic Attraction' consists of Antarctic exhibits, a café, and bar. The centre operates a Hagglund Ride around the centre's land. This is aimed mainly at children, however is an educational tool for all ages, to display the mobility of the Hagglund. The Hagglund is an Antarctic Vehicle that is still in operation. Among other attractions, there is an Antarctic snow storm room, an audiovisual display, and little blue penguins at the NZ Penguin Encounter. The centre is set up for taking in penguins from the wild that are in need of help, with one of those penguins nicknamed 'Morgan' getting media attention for refusing to swim

Tourist Hotspot Christchurch Antarctic Centre in New Zealand | YEESHIH [Vlog #18 Part 1]
Hey everyone, recently Helen and I went to the Christchurch Antarctic Centre located here in New Zealand. It is a tourist destination which Helen has never been to before. If you are wanting to go visit then here is a sneak peek look at what you might be expecting (There's more inside that we did not film in fact but this video gives you a little look at what's to offer there). Hope you enjoy the video! '
Don't forget to check out our other videos and also let us know if there's any other videos you would like us to film. Have an awesome day! The second part will come out soon, the reason the video is split is because the vlog ended up being over 12 minutes long so I thought it'd be good to split it up, and also did we make it out of that storm in one piece? Find out in the next part of vlog 18!
