The Soroptimist International Friendship Gardens is a stunning salute to our multicultural heritage. Located at the south end of the Chapples Recreation Complex, this 15 acre park was organized by the Soroptimist Club as a Centennial gift to Canada and the city. Residents of various ethnic origins created the unique garden and monuments. There are 18 different ethnic groups represented in these gardens.

Alright, here's the thing with Sleeping Giant Provincial Park - from a distance, it looks uniquely beautiful. Hiking it is an experience that will leave both exhausted and awe-inspired.
From a distance, the park looks like a man lying down on his back.
Located east of Thunder Bay, Canada, the park itself features over 100 km of hiking trails, over 200 bird species, wildlife viewing and loads of boreal forest. Not to mention spectacular views of Lake Superior and the surrounding area.

A walk along Centennial Botanical Conservatory
This Centennial Botanical Conservatory is a fascinating place to visit. Exotic flowers, trees, shrubs and other plants from around the world are featured in a year-round tropical setting. The conservatory was constructed in 1967 as a centennial project which was to be left as a legacy to the community and citizens of Thunder Bay.
Tours can be arranged for schools, seniors or any other groups or organizations who wish to view the Conservatory. Weddings or wedding pictures may be booked for a fee by calling the Conservatory.

If you love plants and are fascinated by flowers and species from different parts of the world, you want to visit the Centennial Botanical Conservatory. This facility has 3 display houses.
The main central room is for tropical plants, the west wing is for arid plants and the east wing for seasonal flower shows. Banana trees, palm trees and cacti are just a few of the stars of the conservatory. Its address is 1601 Dease Street.
