Website Speed Code - Frontend Project Part 4/4
Quick video of me coding on the spot a small one-page website. I'm using a free Adobe XD website design from Norbert Kaźmierczak which you can find in his Behance page:
Important things to note!
* Here I'm removing the unnecessary floats and styling some details.
* This is a specific project, where we don't use any newer options from CSS like Flex, Grid, etc. That's why everything is done mainly by positioning, displays and floats (although I hate them, people need to know about them). Also it is done only for website sizes (no responsiveness at this point)
* This is done live on the spot, without much thinking and preparation and couple of snippets will be changed in later videos (this isn't in any way an excuse if you see something wrong in my code).
* While I'm looking and taking sizes from the design a lot of places some the values didn't make sense or looked correctly. I'm keeping up to 80% of the design (which you will see)
* The setup is in CodeSandbox, which was a curiosity test - as you can see the preview window is not the best one (at least for my need) and the intellisense didn't work from the beginning, but still we did the job.
This is a project I gave to couple of juniour developers in an internal mentorship program at my office. I'm mentoring on everything around layouts and styling (eg CSS & SASS). That's why I decided to make couple of front-end speed coding/time lapse videos while I'm coding out the project.
I hope you enjoy and take something from this video. If you find some code examples wrong or have a better idea how to write them - please let me know in the comments bellow! This is done for sharing knowledge and experience.

A Nuclear Hotseat SPECIAL on the Human and Genetic Impact of the Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster. This Week’s Featured Interviews:
Bonnie Kouneva, Chernobyl Survivor. She was a 16-year old living in Sofia, Bulgaria, about 800 miles away from Chernobyl, when the accident started on April 26, 1986. She talks about the impact on her life and the health of her children. This former mountaineer and Greenpeace member currently lives in the United States.
Dr. Timothy Mousseau is an evolutionary biologist and faculty member of the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of South Carolina. Beginning in 1999, Professor Mousseau and his collaborators have explored the ecological, genetic and evolutionary consequences of low-dose radiation in populations of plants, animals and people inhabiting the Chernobyl region of Ukraine and Belarus. Dr. Janette Sherman is well known for her work with epidemiologist Joseph Mangano on analyses of data after Fukushima that indicate a spike in US infant mortality and hypothyroidism. She also edited the English translation of Alexei Yablokov’s groundbreaking work on the book, Chernobyl: Consequences of the Catastrophe for People and the Environment.
Dr. Alexei Yablokov is a member of the Russian Academy of Science , and was environmental advisor to the Russian President Yeltsin and to the Gorbachev administration, as well as a co-founder of Greenpeace Russia. His book Chernobyl: Consequences of the Catastrophe for People and the Environment , compiled and translated into English more than 5,000 separate scientific reports on Chernobyl which completely contradict the World Health Organization’s report, which undermined the seriousness of the accident.

The first will be held this Thursday, April 28 at 2pm Eastern (11am Pacific, 12pm Mountain, 1pm Central).
“Indian Point's Baffling Reactor Bolts: The Implications for Nuclear Safety and Other Reactors”
In recent weeks an unprecedented nuclear safety issue has come to light from an inspection of the Indian Point 2 reactor. Hundreds of the bolts holding together key reactor vessel internals were missing or damaged. This was not supposed to happen: NRC and the industry have dismissed concerns about aging-related degradation of reactor vessel internals for years.
Union of Concerned Scientists’ nuclear safety expert David Lochbaum will review the recent discovery and discuss the nuclear safety implications for reactors throughout the country.
NRC has made the same inspections mandatory at all reactors in the coming years, but it raises the question: “Will those inspections happen fast enough?” After his presentation, David will answer your questions to kick off a discussion.

The Villa is situated 10 Min from the ski resort of Bansko. Between the villaages of Bansko, Razlog, and Banya.On the edge of a small village called Dorno Draglishte.
The Villa is beeing sold with everything you see in this video, plus a few extras we have added after thiss video was shot.
Kitchen has fridge freezer, hob oven,washing machine and dishwasher. includes kettle, toaster, microwave, and magi mix nespresso coffee machine. solid wood dining table and chairs.
Every room has heating,thiss is supplied with individualy remote tempreture controlled oil Radiators,
Living room has 2 3 seater leather sofas one is a bed settee, flat screen Samsung tv, cable box, fibre optic internet. Log Burner,
Bedrooms both have super king beds, solid wood wardrobes and bedside tables, dressing table and full length mirror all in solid wood.one of which has a flat screen tv.
Balcony is tiled and has ikea patio furniture (5 seats) and table.
There is an enclosed area under the stairs for storage, and the house has an alarm that is connected to the local COT. for a small cost per month.
The house is an Upside down configuration, to take in the full views of the Mountains.the upstairs living and kitchen areas a
have a wood vaulted ceiling with wood beams this carries on into the balcony. the House is being sold complete with all the furniture and extras such as vacuum pots cutlery etc, all the usual things.
The property is on the outskirts of the small village of Gorno Draglishte.10 min drive from the Ski resort of Bansko, and only 1 Hour 40 min drive from Sofia Airport Bulgaria.
1 Hour 45 min drive from Greece.
The 400 Sq Mtr plot has not yet been fenced/walled in but can be done at any time.
Bansko is a town at the foot of the Pirin Mountains, which are part of Pirin National Park, in southwest Bulgaria. It’s a gateway to numerous ski and snowboard slopes on Todorka Peak, including the challenging Tomba run.
Resort information
Bansko ski resort is attractive in all seasons. It provides excellent ski and snowboard facilities, as well as a unique history and architecture of an old and new part of the town. Thanks to these features Bansko is a favorite ski and snowboard destination.
Bansko is number one ski resort in Bulgaria. It features the best ski centre and the longest ski season of all Bulgarian ski resorts. The ski season in Bansko lasts from 15 December to 15 May.
During the recent years a multimillion Euros investment in a brand new skiing area has been made by Yulen, the company that runs the skiing area of Bansko. Numerous new luxury hotels and facilities in the area of the Gondola lift station have been constructed.
RAZLOG RESORT
The town of Razlog is situated in the Razlojka valley among three mountains - Rila to the north, Pirin to the south and west and Rodope to the east. Mesta River flows by the town. The town is just 155 kilometers away from Sofia and just 6 kilometers away from the most developed winter resort in Bulgaria - Bansko.
Razlog resort is a huge transport center. Every day regular bus lines connect the town with Bansko, Blagoevgrad, Sofia, Gotse Delchev, Velingrad and many other villages. The situation of the town turns it into a very comfortable starting position for mountain tracks in Rila and Pirin mountains.
Golf lovers may visit the tourism, sports and recreation center - Pirin Golf & Country Club. The complex is located in the Betolovoto site, at the foot of the Pirin mountain, with magnificent view to the Rila and Rodopi mountains. Besides the golf course with 18 holes and the necessary servicing buildings, the complex includes also car park, residential zone, commercial center, restaurants, cafes, horse base, and sports complex.
BANYA RESORT
Location
The village of Banya is situated in the south-west of Bulgaria, in a valley between the three big mountains Rila, Pirin and the Rhodopes. It is 156 km away from the capital Sofia and only 6 km from Bansko ski resort and the town of Razlog. The population of the resort is about 3,000.
History
The mineral springs in the site are the reason this region to be settled very early. The first inhabitants are the Thracians, which is proved by the remains of their culture around the old bath and outside the village dated back about IV century BC.
