Secret Waterfall in Japan - INUKAI waterfalls in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan - (2015.05.06)
I happened to find a beautiful waterfalls at Kirishima City in Japan.
The waterfall is called INUKAI waterfall. The view waterfall is breathtaking and spiritual.
You can come to the water fall after 30 minutes walk from nearby parking lot.

WAKE Shrine worships Mt. KIYOMARO WAKE at Kirishima City (beautiful flowers of WISTERIA)
(Wake Shrine)
The shrine worships a politician Mr. KIYOMARO WAKE.
He used to live in Nara Prefecture, but political scandals sent him to the south Kagoshima.
On his way to Kagoshima, assassinates attack almost killed him, but many boars saved his life. For this reason, you can see several boar statues at the shrine.
(Wisteria Flower at Shrine Garden)
Wisteria flowers are most beautiful at the end of April.
This is the best season to visit the shrine.
I came to the shrine and took the video on 6 May 2015. The most of wisteria flowers are gone, but I could manage to find the LAST wisteria flower!
(INUKAI waterfall)
Just across the road of Wake Shrine, you can walk to see INUKAI waterfall. It is said Mr. Ryoma Sakamoto came here on his honeymoon. The splash water is beautiful. It is very cool even in the middle of summer thanks to the mist of waterfall.

We don't go to the arcade much, but I wanted to show my parents what it's like. But I love that drum game! (I'm not really playing in the video, just playing along with the example)
Miyama-Kirishima, Symbol Flower of Kagoshima, Japan!
Miyama-Kirishima is a symbol flower of Kagoshima, Japan.
The flowers open in April. The tree is very colorful. Those colors include white, pink, red and blue.
You can see those flowers at streets of Kagoshima City.
But you can see the most beautiful Miyama-Kirishima flowers at the Kirishima Mountains (north of Kagoshima).
Each prefecture of Japan has the symbol flower.
Actually symbol flowers of Kagoshima and Japan are the same (the name is different).

I am going on diet recently.
So, every time I want to have chocolates and other sweets, I have to always remember the symbol of flower of Kagoshima!

丸尾滝：上流の林田温泉や硫黄谷温泉の温泉水を集めて落ちる珍しい湯の滝です。高さ23m、幅16mと豪壮にして華やかな滝です。
花房滝：小谷川上流の高千穂地区にある滝。高さ19.2m、幅22.7m。水量もあり見ごたえ十分。
犬飼滝： 高さ36m、幅22mの豪快に水が流れ落ちる様が壮観な滝
千里ヶ滝：霧島川上流湯之野温泉近くの山深い渓谷にある。滝の特色は三段の滝で落差が７５ｍ（上段５０ｍ、中段２０ｍ、下段５ｍ）と霧島山中で最も落差があり、水煙を上げながら一気に落ちる光景は圧巻
Maruo Falls: It is a rare water fall that collects hot spring water of Hayashida Onsen and Iwata valley hot springs in the upper stream. It is a gorgeous waterfall with a height of 23 meters and a width of 16 meters.
Hanafusaki: The waterfall in the Takachiho district upstream of the Otogawa River. Height 19.2 m, width 22.7 m. There is also water volume, it is fine.
Doge Falls: 36 meters high and 22 meters wide, the water falls spectacularly like a splendidly falling waterfall
Senriogaki Falls: Located in a mountainous valley near Yunino Onsen Upper Kirishima River. The characteristic of the waterfall is the three-tiered waterfall with a head drop of 75 m (upper 50 m, middle 20 m, lower 5 m) and the biggest drop in Kirishima mountain, the scene that falls at a stretch while raising the water smoke

冠嶽の紅葉
いちき串木野市の冠嶽神社。
この季節、紅葉に彩られて、目にも鮮やかな装いに。
冠嶽は、古くから人々の信仰を集めてきた山で、密教のお寺もあります。
冠嶽神社は、６世紀、蘇我馬子によってつくられたのが始まりといわれています。
ここには、秦の始皇帝の命を受けた徐福という人が、不老不死の薬を求めてやってきたという言い伝えも残されています。
木々を揺らす風の音、ひんやりとした空気、どこまでも続く静けさに包まれて、いい気持ち。
さてさて、不老不死のお薬は、みつかったのかなあ？

霧島神宮参拝の後は関之尾の滝に行って来ました。
