Japan Monkey Centre in Inuyama
Japan Monkey Centre in Inuyama 7/21/2019. We are at the Japan Monkey Centre and they have so many varieties of monkeys. We walk around and explore and find some really monkeys that you can feed. We get hungry again so we look for some place to sit and eat some food and shave ice (kakigori)! After eating we explore more and find so many variety of tiny monkeys in an air-condition building and a lot of other monkey's outside too. Enjoy!

Inuyama Castle is small but a pleasant castle to visit. Located not too far from the city of Nagoya, it makes for a nice pleasant day trip.

Inuyama adalah sebuah kota kecil yang tidak jauh dari kota Nagoya. Kotanya berbukit-bukit. Nama Inuyama sendiri berarti anjing gunung. Kota ini kecil dan sepi banget. Kebetulan kami ke sana untuk berkunjung ke Primate Centre karena suami ada kelas dan seminar.
Inuyama sendiri saking kecilnya jam 4.30 sore sudah banyak toko dan restoran yang tutup. Ada beberapa tempat yang bisa dikunjungi seperti Inuyama Castle, Old Town, Primate Centre atau yah berkeliling kota dan belanja atau sarapan di Morning Market yang hanya ada di hari Minggu.

Inuyama (犬山), literally meaning dog mountain, is a city in Aichi Prefecture, not far from Nagoya. It is most famous for its small but beautiful castle, which is one of Japan's oldest wooden castles in its original state, having survived the turmoils of wars and disasters over the years.
The picturesque Kiso River runs along the northern border of the city, where cormorant fishing takes place from June through mid October every year. Southeast of the city center is Meiji Mura, a popular open air historical theme park based on the Meiji Period (1868-1912).

[Cycling Japan] Road Bike Day Trip to Inuyama Castle From Nagoya
In today's cycling Japan vlog, Thuong and I will be riding road bikes from Nagoya to Inuyama Castle. The distance is short enough to do a day day trip by bike, which is much better than taking the train in my opinion. Unfortunately there is a lot of busy road city riding on the way there, but there are still plenty of beautiful sights along the way. Today's ride was mostly done at a relaxing pace, while taking some nice food breaks along the way with some yummy Japanese food.

Hungry Wife Rides To Eat! Happy Birthday Thuong-chan!
A nice short relaxing bike ride in Japan with my wife where we visit a local Japanese restaurant for her Birthday. Food always tastes better after cycling, even if it's only a short 5km ride.
This is now our third birthday dinner together, with our first one 2 years ago being our very first not really a date date. Happy birthday to Thuong!

Inuyamayuen Station to Japan Monkey Centre 7/21/2019. We are at the Inuyamayuen Station looking for how to get to the Japan Monkey Centre. We find a way using our goggle map and it takes us on a route with beautiful scenery but, it soon the walkway gets smaller and smaller until there is no pedestrian walkway and this route we have chosen is not the safest route. We do make it this way but, we advise you not to go with way. We explain a better and safer way. The best route is to get off is the stop before at the Inuyama Station. From this station there is a much safer walking route you can goggle and right outside the station you can catch a city bus that drops you off across to the street from the Monkey Park Centre. We hope this video shows you a better way to get to the Monkey Park Centre. Enjoy!

Shimoda is a pleasant city on the Izu Peninsula. It has historical importance as the landing place of several of Commodore Perry's black ships in 1854, an event which marked the end of Japan's era of isolation and the start of diplomatic relations between the US and Japan. Effectively ending Japan's 200-year era of isolation from the outside world.
Shimoda Park is an attractive wooded park on a hill next to Shimoda's city center.
Fortifications for the defense of the city once stood on the hill, but only ruins remain. Today, Shimoda Park is the site of the Monument to the Opening of US-Japan Diplomatic Relations built in 1957, and more than one thousand ajisai (hydrangea), which bloom in June.

The second part for October 14 continues in Inuyama, where I visit one of Japan's little-known national treasures - at least to foreigners - Urakuen (有楽苑). Near the Meitetsu Hotel, Urakuen was built four centuries ago. The tea house Jo-an is on the grounds, where I enjoyed hot matcha (green tea) and a confection. I then return to Nagoya Station and, after checking in at my hotel, head to the underground shopping mall for dinner at Ebidote Shokudo to indulge in a very, very long shrimp. After that experience is over, one more surprise is in store to round out my day.

In part 6 of my Vietnam Travel VLOG my girlfriend Thuong and I make our way to the feudal capital of Vietnam, Hue city. We flew into Da Nang airport and took a 2 hour bus shuttle over to Hue, where were instantly transformed into a very different city compared to the other cities in Vietnam.
The city is divided alongside a large river, and has an abundance of beautiful things to see, delicious foods to eat, etc.. Join along on our day day adventure in Hue, Vietnam!
