Castle Stuart Golf Links, Inverness, Highlands Scotland
A pictorial golf tour of Castle Stuart Golf Links the Scottish Open venue in 2011,12 &13 when Luke Donald, Jeev Mikel Singh and Phil Mickelson were victorious respectively.
It is 7,009 yards Par 72 from the Black tees and a more manageable 6553 yards from the White tees. Three more tee positions are available making the course enjoyable for all abilities.
I am a great fan of this wonderful modern Scottish Links golf course. It offers all golfers the opportunity to enjoy links golf in a marvelous setting with views across the Moray Firth that are as absorbing as the golf course itself.
Mark Parsinen, the owner and co-designer with Gil Hanse, have created a stunning modern golf links that enhances Scotland's reputation for innovative golf course design. A must play when on a Scotland golf vacation.

10 Things to Do on your Family Trip to Inverness, Scotland - Capital of the Scottish Highlands

During our MONTH IN SCOTLAND we did a LOT of family activities. In 10 Things to Do on your Family Trip to Inverness, Scotland - Capital of the Scottish Highlands we show you just some of the things to do at Inverness. Most lists focus on the day trips from Inverness you can take around the little city near Loch Ness. And there are a lot of things to do in the area, but we wanted to focus on the city itself. It's a charming, rather small, city on the Ness river where it flows into the Moray Firth. It's leafy and green in the summer and I think one of our favorite things was just walking along the river. It was so peaceful and beautiful. Your first stop is at Inverness Castle which provides a great view and is a great place for things to do Inverness. We hope you will enjoy these fun family activities, most of which are free, and let us know on the website, instagram, or facebook all the things we missed.

SIMPLY THE BEST - 9 Inverness Place
Make this prestigious home your own personal paradise. Be amazed with the flawless presentation, quality finish and abundance of living space. There is a huge bright tiled entertaining living area, framed with formal and informal elegance. A large open study, spacious lounge, and a state of the art custom designed media room that will impress you to no end. The open plan kitchen is a masterpiece in its own right featuring 900mm oven and gas cook top, huge high end stone bench tops, walk in pantry and quality joinery.
All spread out in a generous design over the one single level, each bedroom is well above average in size and the master bedroom is amazing, it has one of the largest walk in robes I have seen, an absolutely gorgeous spa ensuite, and its own covered access to the courtyard and pool..
At the rear of the home are the incredible resort themed entertaining and relaxation spaces. There is a magnificent large timber deck and covered al-fresco area off the living spaces, as well as a large bali hut with lighting and themed decor. Beside it a water feature and a pebble river feature flowing peacefully into the pool.
A sparkling in ground salt water pool elegantly placed beside a regal feature wall and waterfall as well as and established landscaped garden complete the ultimate package that is this stunning home. All of the additional features you would expect like a large double garage with extra space for storage or golf buggy, ducted air-conditioning and quality alarm system are included.
Peregian Springs is an incredible place to live. Aside from the numerous fantastic parks and lakes, two very highly regarded schools, quality shopping and medical practices, the neighbourly and community spirit is next to none. People who live in Peregian Springs are proud of where they live, and care about their community and the people in it. Just ask anyone who lives in “The Springs”, and they’ll tell you “You’ll love living in Peregian Springs”.
Absolutely immaculate and meticulously maintained throughout its life this home is simply the best. If only to challenge yourself to find a fault, you should not miss this opportunity for an inspection. If you have any further questions about this home or Peregian Springs in general, please feel free call Dave Williams any time on 0488 88 4573.

Scotland: Inverness & the Highlands with Julia Reams-Giersch | Rick Steves Travel Talks
In this travel talk, Rick Steves' Europe travel expert Julia Reams-Giersch visits Inverness — the unofficial capital of the Scottish Highlands. From there, Julia offers tips for exploring Cairngorms National Park, catching a trained sheepdog show or a Highland Games (with burly feats of strength and delicate dancing) , visiting the prehistoric Clava Cairns that inspired Outlander, touring the historic Culloden Battlefield (where the Jacobite rising and the Highland way of life met a bloody end), looking for sea monsters (and ruined castles) at Loch Ness, and hiking the Weeping Glen of Glencoe.
