Inwangsan Mountain Hiking in 14 minutes in Seoul, South Korea
Inwangsan Mountain is very near from central Seoul and easy to travel and it only takes for me 14 minutes , 10 minutes to und 4 minutes to down.
This mountain is by far offers the best view of central city of Seoul.

This is a great little hike that you can go on while visiting or living in Seoul, South Korea. It only took about an hour to reach the summit, and that was with a few stops for photos.
The close proximity of nature to the city is one of the many aspects of Seoul that I love. Just take a short metro ride and you can immediately begin hiking.

[TRIPofJHL] Climbing Inwangsan Mountain in Seoul, Korea
Video of Inwangsan Mountain climbing locating in Seoul, South Korea. Starting from Inwangsan Jarakgil(lower trail), climbed up the mountain from the east to the west. Total estimate time was approx. 6 hours(2 hours of climbing).
Locating northern area of Seoul, it's just 338m high from the sea level. It's not a high mountain and there were few visitors. It's easy and comfortable walk until the top. With amazing fortress walls to the peak, It was securing the north of the former capital, Hanyang in Joseon Dynasty. Inwangsan also provides a beautiful sunset and nightscape. Good to visit at least once for the people who travel Seoul, too. On top of the mountain, places such as Bukaksan Mountain, Ansan Mountain, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan Mountain and N Seoul Tower come into eyes.

[TRIPofJHL] 서울 인왕산 & 한양도성 등반 영상...
대한민국의 서울 종로구 옥인동에 위치한 인왕산 등반 영상. 인왕산자락길(둘레길)을 따라 걸은 다음 동쪽입구에서 오르기 시작하여 서쪽입구로 내려왔다. 총소요시간은 약 6시간(등산은 약 2시간 소요).
서울의 북쪽지역에 위치한 인왕산은 높이가 해발 338m로 그리 높지 않고, 오르는 이가 적어 쉽고 편하게 등산하는 것이 가능하다. 옛 수도 한양의 북쪽을 지키는 산이기 때문에 성벽이 산 정상까지 세워져 있는 점도 특징이다. 일몰과 야경이 멋지기 때문에 관광객도 서울 여행시 한번쯤 들러볼만 하다. 정상에서는 북악산, 안산, 경복궁, 남산, N서울타워 등 여러 명소들을 조망할 수 있다.

Epic Seoul Hiking Adventure! (끝내주는 서울 등산 모험) - ???????? TRAVEL KOREA
My friends, Marie, and I went on an epic hiking, day-drinking adventure in Seoul!
We met up at Dongnimmun Station on Line 3, and proceeded to head up through Muak-dong, a neighborhood famous for their shaman temple grounds.
The trail to Inwangsan mountain starts off in Muak-dong. It's a fairly easy hike up the mountain, and we reached the summit in about an hour.
There are great spots with amazing views overlooking Seoul city from this trail!
Afterwards, we went downwards a little to the Seoul Fortress Wall, and followed it north up towards Buam-dong. Buam-dong is a famous little area northeast of the royal palace. They have many cafes, and specifically, there is the Sanmotunge cafe, which was a filming location for the famous Korean drama Coffee Prince.
After visiting the cafe briefly, we ventured into a forest area not far from the cafe and hung out in the quiet shade of the trees and enjoyed some makgeolli (fermented rice wine).
Marie was with us until this point, when she had to leave because of a business appointment. We all left after a few hours to go down back into the city, near Gyeongbokgung Station. In that area, we drank some beers while waiting for Marie to finish her business meeting.
Once Marie met back up with us, we went up the street just a short distance to a very famous and very big samgyetang restaurant. Samgyetang is a chicken soup cooked with ginseng herb. It's very tasty and healthy!
And, after the long day of venturing around, hiking, drinking, and eating... we took a taxi back home.

[TRIPofJHL] Climbing Bugaksan Mountain in Seoul, Korea
Video of Bugaksan Mountain climbing locating in Seoul, South Korea. Starting from Changuimun Gate(west end), climbed up the mountain from the west to the east, and came down to Sukjeongmun Gate(east end). That was the popular Seoul Fortress Route walking along the city wall. After that, climbed again to Bugak Palgakjeong Pavilion and came down through Kim Shin-Jo Route. The hiking routes and driveways near Bugak Palgakjeong are called as Bugak Haneul-gil(Bugak Skyway in English). Total estimate time was approx. 4 hours and a half.
Locating northern area of Seoul, the summit of Bugaksan is 342m high from the sea level. It's not a high mountain and there were few visitors. It's easy and comfortable walk until the top. With amazing fortress walls to the peak, It was securing the north of the former capital, Hanyang in Joseon Dynasty.
While Seoul Fortress Route has some classified facilities and taking pictures/videos is partially permitted, Bugak Haneul-gil(Bugak Skyway) has relatively uninhabited trails. And Bugak Palgakjeong Pavilion has the breahtaking panoramic view of Seoul.
Good to visit at least once for the people who travel Seoul, too. On top of the mountain, places such as Bukhansan Mountain, Inwangsan Mountain, Ansan Mountain, Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan Mountain and N Seoul Tower come into eyes.

대한민국의 서울 종로구/성북구에 위치한 북악산 등반 영상. 창의문(서쪽끝)부터 시작하여 서울성벽을 올라 숙정문(동쪽끝)에서 북악산 서울성곽길을 완주하였다. 그리고 나서, 북악하늘길(북악스카이웨이)을 올라 북악팔각정을 관람하고 김신조루트를 통해 다시 내려왔다. 서울성곽길이 계단산책길이라면 이 코스는 가벼운 등산에 가까웠다. 총 소요시간은 약 4시간반.
서울의 북쪽지역에 위치한 북악산은 높이가 해발 342m로 그리 높지 않고, 오르는 이가 적어 쉽고 편하게 오르는 것이 가능하다. 정상까지는 쉽게 오를 수 있다. 서울성곽길은 보안시설이 곳곳에 위치해 있어 방문객은 폐쇄회로로 감시되며, 사진이나 동영상 촬영이 어느정도 제한된다. 반면, 북악하늘길은 부담없이 자유롭게 사진촬영을 할 수 있다. 그리고 하늘길 정상에 있는 북악팔각정은 탁 트인 시야로 서울을 조망할 수 있는 장소이다. 인왕산과 더불어 관광객도 서울 여행시 한번쯤 들러볼만 하다. 정상에서는 북한산, 인왕산, 안산, 경복궁, 남산, N서울타워 등 여러 명소들을 조망할 수 있다.

20 Mins Hiking in Seoul | Inwangsan Mountain
It took 20 minutes to go to the first peak .
There are 3 peaks if Im not mistaken.
and that 20 minutes can be 10 minutes if we ate and well prepared for a morning hike.
but all I got was two people who cant stop whining all the way up,
but but, I was also not prepared for a sudden stairs climbing.

We started hiking when it was still dark and waited fir about half hour fir the sun to show up.

If you want the best view of Seoul at day and night, this mountain is the one.
It is called Inwangsan Mountain and it is easily reached on foot and it is closed on Mondays due to its location being close to Presidential house.
