十条・王子界隈を歩く
東京都北区の十条・王子界隈を歩いてみました。
緑豊かな自然に囲まれた公園や
歴史ある赤レンガ倉庫を改築したモダンな印象の図書館、
路地裏に多く存在する坂道も情緒があります。
滝と渓流のマイナスイオンで清涼感もバッチリの
名主の滝公園は回遊式庭園で、遡ること江戸時代が起源とされています。
また落語「王子の狐」で知られる稲荷神社も数社あり
大晦日には大いに賑わいを見せるそうです。
どちらかと言うと23区内ではマイナーなイメージで
とらわれがちな北区ですが
都内で唯一の路面電車、都電も走っていて
夏休みの1日を利用して散策するのにオススメのスポットです♪

Celebrating The New Year In Japan
Hatsumode 初詣 is the first shrine visit of the New Year. Traditionally in Japan people attend a shrine to pray for health, prosperity and a variety of other things at the very beginning of the year. This is my hatsumode to Hachiman jinja in Hamamatsu. Hope you enjoy!

Nachi no Dengaku 那智の田楽
Originally, Nachi no Dengaku was a traditional field dance honouring the gods after a good harvest. In dengaku-odori the dancers hold binzasara, which is an instrument consisting of 108 wooden plates linked by a cotton cord.
In Buddhism 108 is the number of evil passions. These desires disturb wisdom, cause disarrangement, and annoy the mind and body.
This traditional dance performed in the town of Nachi-Katsuura in Wakayama Prefecture was introduced to the district from Kyoto 600 years ago.

Ringing in 2020 at Oji Inari Shrine in Tokyo. It is said that every new year foxes in human form visit the shrine for hatsumode. Many people come dressed in fox masks and makeup for the shrine visit.

Sacred area Ikuta shrine and Ikuta forest are located in Kobe City at Hyogo prefecture of Japan.
Ikuta shrine and Ikuta forest is my favorite place in Japan. They are located in main street of Kobe City. But whenever I enter this area above all Ikuta forest I feel like enter another dimension world. I believe firmly God have watched affectionately somewhere.
