Traveling Iran Walking In Mashhad City Streets & Shops Middle East 2019
Traveling Iran Walking In Mashhad City Streets & Shops Middle East 2019. I am traveling in Iran, walking in the Mashhad city's streets, Bazar, Markets, and shops. Mashhad is located in the northeast part of the country in Khorasan province. Mashhad city is a holy city of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is the second-largest city with over 3 Million population and capital of Khorasan-e Razavi Province. There are many modes of transports as Car, Taxi, Public Buses, Trains and by Air. It’s centered on the vast Holy Shrine of Imam Reza, with golden domes and minarets that are floodlit at night. The circular complex also contains the tomb of Lebanese scholar Sheikh Bahai, plus the 15th-century, tile-fronted Goharshad Mosque, with a turquoise dome. Museums within the shrine include the Carpet Museum, with many rare pieces. Mashhad means is the place of Martyrdom. By the end of the third Hijri century, a dome was built on the grave of Imam Reza and many buildings and bazaars sprang around the holy shrine. In 383 A.H. 993 A.D. Sebuktigin, the Ghaznavid sultan devastated Mashhad and stopped the pilgrims from visiting the holy shrine of Imam Reza. Tourists from the different parts of the world and Shia pilgrims, zawar, ziarin visit this holy city every year in large numbers and also travel other cities of Iran. Travel by bus to Iran is very cheap. fare price is low in Iran by rail, buses, taxes and by air. Oil prices are very low too. Diesel and petrol price is around 6 to 10 cent per liter.

I crossed the Pacific Ocean Van on sailing boats as crew and visited The Unites States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, The Marquesas Islands, Tahiti, The Kingdom Of Niue, Rarotonga, Tonga, Fiji, some other small islands and ended up in New Zealand. In New Zealand I cycled 3.000km from the northernmost point to the southernmost point. After that I rode a motorbike from Vietnam to Laos and Cambodia. Recently I converted a Rusian 4x4 UAZ Buhanka oldtimer into a campervan and am driving around Central Asia with my puppy dog.
Tehran - Trip to Iran
Tehran, the first station on my trip. In this video you can get some essential information like where to get your VOA, sim card, change money...
And you can find some nice places in the center of Tehran. Most people try to avoid Tehran because they say it's so busy and has high air polution. In my opinion it's not that bad. And you have a lot of nice parks in the center.
It was my second trip to Tehran. This time I almost didn't do any sightseeing, just walking around.

As for many tourist visiting Iran, the capital Tehran has been our first stop and introduction to the country. We used our time in the city to explore the best things to do in Tehran by focussing on attractions and spots that are interesting for younger travelers paired with important historic landmarks.
Beside typical tourist attractions we wanted to see what the real Iran is like and reached out to local friends for further recommendations. This way we got to go to places locals use to hangout, have a coffee or simply relax from the hustling and bustling city center. We used various local transport options and explain how you can get around on the cheap. Last but not least we give a few recommendations for typical persian dishes you should try when visiting.
This part of the trip was executed within 1,5 weeks - following I list all the places I visited & Things to do in Tehran:

OMG Trip 11: Iran - Teheran 2
We are back in Teheran. Finally we we able to strip winter clothes. I tis a huge paradox that in Teheran we had a warmest weather. We expected it in south to be the warm but it wasn't like it. So again warm and because i tis nice we decided to take Tochal telecabin and see Teheren from the top and hopefully everything will go fine.
Our exitement from warm weather disapeared. But we are not going to give up two days in the row. We are going up and will see.
We wanted to take a telecabin which supose to be longest in the world with four stations. But insted of that we takeing classic uncovert chairlift because it is only one option opened.
Where they din't let us in during our first day in Teheran we got in on our last day in Iran in overall. Welcome to Golestan palace. Golestan palace is the most expensive monument which we visited in Iran. We paid 600 Rial which is about 4 euros.
We are on our wai to airport. We are taking red metro line from city center up to here. Where we originally supose to get of and we wanted to change train to airport. But metro operator told us that we we rupose to get of here and there to change a train to airport. We are little bit confused but we have a lot of time to spare so we'll see how it all go. We are finally in the right train to airport. It is almost empty as you can see there is only five of us here. The trip is little bit chaotic because metroline which supose to go by airport is not completly finished and that is why the trains is going there wery often. Roght now is about once in hour and a half so you have to keep it in mind if you'll go. You have change a train two times. For the first time at the station as I told you before and second time you have to change a train ass well. It will be waiting on you in the oposite side of the platforma s you get of.
Do you now what I can finally do in the public? I can be without scarf. Oooh after 17 days it is perfect feeling. And now we have second little bit more interesting think as Zuzka without a scarf bacause I like her in it. We are really happy that we even sit in the plane. Because whe we arrived to airport we find out that our flight was canceled but no one informed us about it...So we had to save a situation but thankfully there was another flight to nearby city so we bought tickets.... We flying about one hour and a half sooner i tis direct flight. We will be in different cite as we wanted. We will be in Guangzhou not in Shenzhen. Hopefully we'll get money back for that cenceled flight and everythink will be OK.
So next time we'll see eachother in Hong Kong.
We have spend 18 incredible days in Iran. We traveled fron north to south from Teheran to Shiraz throught Esfahan and Yazd. And than we get back to our northernmost place and it was city of Tabriz. We traveled about 4 000 km and walked 143 km. We'll never forget about Iran. We were really surprised especially by people which helped us. And we did not feel afraid not even for a monet. So if you want to visit Iran we recomend it!
