Victory Behind Bars
The Bordelais Correctional facility recorded history on April 15, 2018 when for the first time an external team came to play a match of football with the inmates. The Richfond Youth Organization played against the Bordelais Football All Star Team.
Correctional Officer Yasmin Peter mentioned how important this activity is especially on a community level and expressed how happy she was about the event.
Hon. Shawn Edward expressed his views on the work that is being done by the director and staff at the institution.
Director of Bordelais, Vern Guard explained what proper rehabilitation must entail in order for it to be a success.
The teams played an exciting match with the Bordelais All Star Team being victorious. The inmates and staff were proud of this achievement.
Join GVD News live on Sunday April 29, 2018 for Community Awareness Football Competition when the Bordelais All Star meets the Richfond Youth Organization once more at the La Ressource Playing Field. Game starts at 2 pm.

This beach front property for sale in Soufriere Saint Lucia comprises of 8 detached houses sitting on approximately 2 Acres for land. One of the detached building has a restaurant, kitchen, bar and dining area.
The property is located in the western section of the island in one of St. Lucia’s prime tourist and residential development area. The neighbourhood is quiet and conducive for residential development with views of the Caribbean Sea and the Pitons.
