Irishtown Nature Park Review New Brunswick Moncton Canada
Video from Irishtown Nature Park New Brunswick Moncton Canada
Irishtown Nature Park - Moncton, NB
The Irishtown Nature Park features lots of walking trails that are all rated easy. We hiked the dragonfly trail (1.4kms), the John Howard footpath(2.3kms), the bouctouche line(2.1kms), the scout trail, (0.8kms) and the old reservoir trail. It is a nice walk in the woods, however don't forget your bug spray! There is a lot of still water along parts of the paths (some areas are worse than others). We saw a lot of insect life, multiple types of damselflies, a goldenrod crab spider, and many others. There were quite a few boardwalks as well!
This is a trail you could bring your children on! Nice and easy.

Irishtown Nature Park Accident LIGHTS & SIRENS
A 2 vehicle rear ender accident ( see brake marks on pavement) on Elmwood drive by the Irishtown Nature Park around 2:10 PM. The call first went to the rural RCMP as a accident with no injuries and then when Codiac RCMP were dispatched to it as a accident with injuries. Moncton fire department and NB Ambulance service were sent for minor injuries. When I was heading back into town I seen a RCMP member with lights and sirens heading to the accident scene. Road conditions were dry at the time of the accident.
Walking Trails in Moncton, New Brunswick
Moncton, New Brunswick has an impressive variety of walking trails. Hikers and travel writers Keith and Heather Nicol recently had the opportunity to explore these trails and loved the walk along the Petitcodiac River, the tall pines in Centennial Park, the ducks in Mapleton Park and the lakeside trail in Irishtown Nature Park.
