Lying just off the coast of South America - the Venezuelan island of Margarita is two island masses linked together by a narrow split of sand which curves to form the beautiful lagoon of La Restinga.
One adventure whilst there, was a Jeep Safari trip to Canaima National Park and also you can take a (plane) excursion to Angel Falls on mainland Venezuela (the Falls being 3,300ft - the World longest waterfall).
