solo un año después de una ambiciosa operación para liberar a Desecheo de ratas invasivas, biólogos han confirmado que estos destructivos depredadores han sido removidos de la isla con éxito. Este proyecto de conservación, que es considerado uno de los esfuerzos más exhaustivos hasta la fecha en la región, permitiría que la isla vuelva a su estado original; una isla que una vez tuvo la colonia de aves marinas más importante de la region.

Desecheo Aéreo
Here's an unedited flight over the western coast of Desecheo Island, about 13 miles west of Rincón, PR. I was testing the DJI Lightbridge control and video solution over digital 2.4 G. Except for a slight frame freeze 10 min into the flight, the control was responsive, and the HD video downlink was clear and with minimal lag.
I used a DJI Phantom 2 with a Zenmuse H3-3D gimbal for GoPro Hero 3+.
I was with some friends diving that day. You can actually see bubbles surfacing through the water. This place is pristine, and beautiful. Highly Recommended for divers!
