Lakshadweep - Bangaram Island REVIEW
During our 4 days trip to Lakshadweep in January 2017, we spent 1 day at Bangaram & 3 days at Thinnakara. In this video, we will give you an overview of Bangaram island and our experience there.
Lakshadweep | Visiting the Paradise Island Bangaram | Travelling in India
Follow me and Joe to the paradise islands Lakshadweep. We stayed at the island Bangaram at Bangram island beach resort. This was our favorite part of India and it was just four days of living in a dream. We had the most beautiful beaches, turquoise water, snorkling experiences and really big turtles just a few metres away.
We know everyone would love Lakshadweep, we sure did! This is a great cheaper option to the Maldives that I would guess is a lot more genuine. We will miss you Lakshadweep!
Enjoy :)

Lakshadweep - Agatti Island & Village Drive
In Lakshadweep, Agatti is a beautiful island. The beach is very nice and relatively quiet - only a few tourists are allowed - and the corals are close to the shore to swim and snorkel around.

dee vlogs – Deepti Bhatnagar visits Lakshadweep
Lakshadweep..Literally means a 'hundred thousand islands', Lakshadweep has few of the most beautiful and exotic islands and beaches of India.and we started our journey from goa to Lakshadweep wt my awesome foursome ....beautiful friends.
the charm of Lakshadweep islands lies in their remoteness. Far off the beaten track, they attract no hordes of merry markers to their shores. Or perhaps it is the beauty of the islands densely covered coconut palms, and threaded by an unbroken line of creamy white sand; each island of Lakshadweep serenely set in a sea whose waters range from palest aquamarine and turquoise to deepest sapphire and lapis lazuli. The unique charm of Lakshadweep is what I tried to capture wt my Go Pro HERO5 camera myself. Hope you guys will enjoy my Dee vlog. And share among your friends.

Bangaram island is one of the best islands in India for a honeymoon. Multi-shade water, beautiful beaches, adventurous water sports, and no crowd, make it the perfect destination for your next vacation. You’ll mostly spot foreigners enjoying their holidays, which may make you wonder, of how do they know it all about Lakshadweep and not us (Indians). A shallow lagoon on one side of the island makes it just perfect for kids to play. So there’s no need to think twice when planning a vacation that involves your kids.

Lakshadweep, the group of 36 islands is known for its exotic and sun-kissed beaches, coral reefs, coconut trees, swaying palms, water sports, lush green landscape etc.
Lakshadweep can be explored in two ways. You can take a sea route from Cochin and visit three or more islands by ship.
Daytime you can see and do activities in the island. In the night, you have to halt in the ship.
Alternatively, you can go by a fight to Agatti from Cochin. Agatti is connected to many places in India by flight. we chose this
Way to reach Agatti.
Agatti is a small stretch of land covered by the Arabian Sea on either side. We stayed in Agatti and from Agatti, we went to Bangaram Island and Thinnakara Island by boat. These two islands are inhabited. Both islands offer many water sports activities like kayaking, snorkelling, scuba diving etc.
Boat journey to Bangaram Island and Thinnakara island from Agatti is memorable. The changing colours of the Arabian sea is a treat to eyes. We went to Bangaram Island and spent time there. We took kayaking and snorkelling in Bangaram Island. We missed a glass boat ride due to low tide. Bangaram Island is having a resort that offers accommodation facilities for tourists.
Next day we planned to go to Thinnakara Island by boat. As we are nearing Bangaram island, ( Bangaram and Thinnakara islands are adjacent islands and it takes half an hour to reach Bangaram to Thinnakara Island) our boatman took us to the sandbank near to Bangaram Island.one can reach this sandbank from Bangaram Island by walking in the sea. We went directly by ship. We enjoyed like anything in the sandbank. Nobody was there except the surrounding sea and the various colours of sea ranging from light blue to turquoise blue and light green mesmerised us. Truly, visiting this place was an out of the world experience.
From there, we visited Thinnakara Island. This island is also having cottages. Compared to Bangaram Island, Thinnakara Island is not maintained well.
Next day I took scuba diving in Agatti. The island,s first scuba diving PADI instructor Mr Kamaruddin briefed us about scuba diving. I didn’t know swimming. Even then he instilled confidence and took me for scuba diving. We saw live corals, colourful fishes. Yet another memorable experience which you can carry from this heavenly land.
Lakshadweep Island is known for its tranquillity. If you wish to escape from crowd city life and spend quality time, this is the right place.

Bangaram Island Lakshadweep || The True Beckon
Bangaram Island in Lakshadweep, India is an uninhabited island located 45 minutes away from Agatti Island, by a speed boat. Tourists visiting Lakshadweep Islands need permit prior to the arrival. There are some other islands in Lakshadweep which are open to tourists Tinnakara, Karavatti etc. So when you plan your travel, you can plan according to your need to visit those. Booking of the tour can be done through SPORTS: where they have official contact details. However, we did not receive any response from them and hence we booked through their authorized agents We booked through lactours@gmail.com and it was all fine. When you book your trip by contacting SPORTS, they will arrange the tourist permit as well, which is fairly easy process when done by them. Make sure to have it prior to your flight from Kochi as they may check this to let you board.
Also, they provide mineral water in glass bottles to avoid disposable plastic bottles, so they are as good as packaged drinking water.
Airtel network was available at some places in island, no other mobile network was available. Do not expect internet connections, (hence payment through cards also may not work, have enough cash with you especially if you want to do scuba)
