Isle of Wight Pearl
Welcome to our second video, a lovely sunny morning at Isle of Wight Pearl.
This lovely place has the largest collection of pearl in the UK. We entered the building with zero knowledge about pearls and we came out with wealth of knowledge by having 25 minutes master class from Rossanne Burfoot. It was very engaging, informative, fun and most of all it's FREE!

21st Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival Venue 1 Isle of Wight Pearl
The 21st Brighstone Christmas Tree Festival is spread over 8 venues with Carol Concerts and Winter Wonderland, School fair, Nativity Pageant, concerts , musicians, lace makers etc all taking part throughtout the 4 days and today I was at the Isle of Wight Pearl. My attempt to livestream was thwarted by the bad signal but not to be outdone - I videoed instead at the Isle of Wight Pearl. The Isle of Wight staff are great supporters of the festival in many ways including donating the mulled wine being served at the Social Club and then sponsoring every cup given away - by donating 50p for each one. Bravo Isle of Wight Pearl staff.
My network group - Allthingsnetworking - has a tree out at the pearl - helping to raise the visibility of local businesses and charities.

Thank you, Isle of Wight. It's been a blast.
Today, with a heavy heart, I formally announce my resignation from the United Kingdom Youth Parliament. It's been an immense privilege representing the young people of the Isle of Wight for the last 17 months, and I've honestly had the time of my life. Whilst I wish I could keep doing this forever, I think it does my constituents a disservice to continue as their representative when my main focus will be on my studies at university beginning in two weeks time. I will always look back on my time as the MYP with pride, and I'll always be looking for ways to support those who come after me, and improve the lot of the young people of our beautiful island. I should probably wrap this up now, as I'm getting a little bit emotional. Thank you to everybody who has supported me on this incredible journey. Thank you, Isle of Wight. It's been a blast.
