At Amanohashidate and Ine,Kyoto with my Family家族と天橋立旅行
11/27/2010-11/28/2010
I went to Amanohashidate,Kyoto with my family.
My parents,sisters and grandmother.
家族と一緒に天橋立、伊根の舟屋などに行きました。
Amanohashidate (天橋立) is one of Japan's three scenic views. It is located in Miyazu Bay in northern Kyoto Prefecture.
A thin strip of land connects two opposing sides of Miyazu Bay. This sand bar is 3.3 km long and covered with about 7000 pine trees.
It can be viewed from mountains on either side of the bay or it can be traversed on foot.
Near the southern end is Chion-ji, a Buddhist temple.
Also, on this peninsula is to be found the 'Isoshimizu' fresh water well cherished since the Heian period, which was selected for the 'Japan Good Water Category'[clarification needed] in 1985.
Ine (伊根町 Ine-chō?) is a town located in Yosa District, Kyoto, Japan.
As of 2008, the town has an estimated population of 2,500 and a density of 47.14 persons per km². The total area is 61.98 km².
