Reena was born in New York City and has spent her life traveling, having visited destinations in Asia, Europe, and across The United States. She was inspired to travel with an eye on local culture after a life changing trip to India as a child. Her goal is to inspire people to immerse themselves in the authenticity of the locations they visit instead of simply doing what tourists do. In her eyes, each trip a person takes should be transformational in some way.
Reena has already stamped her passport in India, England, Dubai, Japan, the Philippines, France, Italy, Aruba, Mexico, Spain, Canada, the islands of Bermuda and Hawaii and to cities and cool neighborhoods all over the US. Exploring Ithaca, New York
Exploring Ithaca, New York
Another extraordinary film by April Beresford for
Now 50 days on the road, couchsurfing throughout our entire journey, here is a short video about our very first adventure in the United States. The footage begins with an account of our initial brush with US customs officer at the US border, followed by shots of us exploring an abandoned home on our way to Ithaca, New York. After being welcomed by our hosts in Ithaca we are shown around the local community. Relaxing beneath a waterfall we learn of an AMAZING opportunity our host has arranged; we are invited to observe a local artist in his glassblowing studio. Check out this video to see molten glass form into beautiful artwork!
