The cycling course is round course from seaside roadside station, Malin dream Nou to near mountain, including Itoigawa Seaside Valley Ski Resort , the distance of 120km and the acquisition altitude of 2000m.
About Itoigawa:
Itoigawa is facing Japanese sea located in southern part of Niigata Prefecture and situated at the northern terminus of the great fault line, the Itoigawa-Shizuoka Tectonic Line geologically separating North-Eastern Japan and South-Western Japan.
Because of this great fault, Itoigawa is the only place where jade can be found in Japan, and is famous for its beautiful jade gemstone.
Itoigawa's precious geological features show how the Japanese islands were formed, and the Itoigawa Geopark was recognized as Japan’s first World Geopark on August 22, 2009.

NIhon-Kai（the Sea of Japan）is not main image of beach resort of Japan like pacific ocean for example, Izu,Shonan,Shimoda and so..But the sea is very beautiful and not so crowded of traffic,so you can feel relaxin on driving.

JOETSU, JAPAN ADVENTURE (PART 1)
Joetsu is located in Niigata Prefecture Japan where there are lots of hidden places to discover.
We found a very nice park near the seaside, which is also beside the Joetsu Aquarium or the so called UMIGATARI.
Few walk from that park, we found a happy place called UMINEKO CAFE where you can experience the overlooking view of the sea. Lots of people visit this place to eat. You should definitely try it! The food and the view were great!

ヒスイ拾い ひすい採取 マナーやルールなどに思うこと
いつも御覧いただきありがとうございます
説明の掲載をしていなかったの気づいていませんでした。(^^;
ヒスイの採取について思っていることになります。
マナーというかルールというか、ふつうに考えて気を付けているつもりですが
あらためて、ずっと考えてきたことをアップします。
採取が遠い未来でも、自然にできるようであればいいなと思いつつ。
「今はもう海岸では見なくなりました」という未来でなくて
「今でもヒスイは海岸で見つけることができます」という未来であることを
とても願っています。
こんなことが自然にできる場所は世界でも限られていると思います
