Izu Shaboten Zoo is a park consists of the botanical and zoological garden located in Ito, Shizuoka, Japan. The park is known for Capybara, the world's largest rodent, freely roaming on a specific area. The zoo has 120 different animals and hardly visited by most tourists as it is quite difficult to reach (rural place), either you rent a car or use public transportation which requires a bit of research.

伊豆シャボテン公園『元祖カピバラの露天風呂』の変わり湯～伊東名物風呂～
1982年の冬に飼育スタッフが掃除にお湯を使ってカピバラの展示場を洗っていたところ、
溜まっていたお湯にカピバラがゆったりとしていたのを偶然見つけ、
以来毎年冬にカピバラの露天風呂を用意しております。
2012年２月は、その『元祖カピバラの露天風呂』が変わり湯に！！
