OTSUKIMI (the full moon in autumn) in the Japanese garden お月見の会
It is the day Japanese people appreciate the full moon in autumn, and traditionally, offer rice dumplings and Japanese pampas grass, seasonal fruits and vegetables to the moon.
OTSUKIMI event was held in a Japanese garden close to the TOKYO SKYTREE.

Located right beside Lake Biwa, Hotel Laforet Biwako features a complimentary use of an indoor swimming pool, a large gymnasium and tennis courts. Guests can unwind at the large public baths and saunas after spending the day exercising. A free shuttle is available from JR Katata Train Station, which is a 10-minute drive away.
Air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a fridge and an electric kettle with green tea bags. Japanese Yukata robes and toothbrush sets are provided for all guests, and the en suite bathroom comes with a hairdryer. All rooms feature garden or lake views.

OSHIMA TRIP | DAY 2 & 3| JAPAN

I did a 3 night trip to Oshima part of the Izu Islands in Japan. The trip consisted of hiking Mr. Mihara (volcano), relaxing at an onsen, biking the island, making flower oil, and banging drums in an wadaiko workshop.
Its a nice get away spot from the city if anyone wants to go and check it out. I went during the winter time, but there beaches are nice during the summer.

Kuchinotsu 口之津町 is a town located in Minamitakaki District, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 6,450 and a density of 646.29 persons per km². The total area was 9.98 km².
On March 31, 2006, Kuchinotsu, along with the towns of Arie, Fukae, Futsu, Kazusa, Kitaarima, Minamiarima and Nishiarie (all from Minamitakaki District), was merged to create the city of Minamishimabara.
The ferry from Kuchinotsu to Oniike on the north Shimoshima ,at the southern tip of the Shimabara Peninsula, is run by the Shimabara Railway and operates hourly each day.

焼失前、解体修理前の金閣寺の姿もあります。
私は何度も京都には訪れていますが、昔、京都滞在時の夜に世界的大事件が起きて新幹線が大混雑し、仕方が無いので3日間延泊しました。予期せぬ宿代の出費だったので、食事は全てマクドナルドでした。京都に行くたびに、マクドナルドを思い出します。どうでもいい話ですが。
