Teddy Bear Museum in Japan, Izu (伊豆）Totoro exhibition included!
Video starts off with the Teddy bear part, then I head up to the Totoro exhibition on the next floor. Finally I get a few shots of the souvenir shop, filled with My Neighbor Totoro goods and teddy bears.
Definitely recommend this place, it was fun! Don't ask me where it is though, I was driven here and google can give you a better answer ;)
I originally had a teddy bear track on this song but due to copyright I removed it and had to use YouTube's editor to replace the music.

The Teddy Bear Museum is one of many museums in the city of Ito, Shizuoka Prefecture. It houses a large collection of teddy bears from all over the world. また、歩道部分は舗装されていますが
水面に近いこともあり波を被ることもありますので、

Nick traveled to Izu hot spring resort to celebrate his birthday on May 12' 2003. In the park he found a fossilized vertebrate of Dinosaur! ABOUT IZU: Izu (伊豆市 Izu-shi) is a city located in central Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
As of June 2012, the city has an estimated population of 33,096 and a population density of 90.9 persons per km²
LOCATION: Izu is located in the north-central portion of Izu Peninsula, and includes most of the Amagi Mountains. The region is hilly and some 80% of the city area is covered by forest. The Kano River runs through the city, which has a short coastline to the west on Suruga Bay of the Pacific Ocean. The area has numerous hot springs. Warmed by the warm Kuroshio Current, the area enjoys a warm maritime climate with hot, humid summers and mild, cool winters.
HISTORY: During the Edo period, most of Izu Province was tenryō territory under direct control of the Tokugawa shogunate, although portions near modern Shuzenji were under the control of the Okubo clan of Ogino-Yamanaka Domain. During the cadastral reform of the early Meiji period in 1889, the area was reorganized into several villages under Kimisawa District, Shizuoka Prefecture. Kimisawa District merged with Tagata District in 1896.
Shuzenji became a town in 1924, followed by Toi in 1938, Nakaizu in 1958, and Amagiyugashima in 1960. The modern city of Izu was established on April 1, 2004 by the merger of the towns of Shuzenji, Toi, Nakaizu and Amagiyugashima (all from Tagata District).
Japan Day 6: Studio Ghibli Museum
I'll always cherish this experience, especially considering how lucky we were to have been able to purchase the tickets overseas at home ...online... when the site kept crashing LOL. But jokes aside, it felt magical being here, not because everything was colour/flashy or anything, but just the little details that you could see was carefully thought/planned out in order to make this a memorable experience for Ghibli fans.
Apparently there is going to be a Studio Ghibli Theme Park (Totoro, maybe?) that is confirmed for 2020. I hope to visit that one day too!!
