Chattanooga Update - December 22, 2014
Police have made an arrest after two babies were found dead in an East Tennessee home.
The bodies of 14-month-old Kynsleigh Easterly and 2-month-old Trinity Tweed were found in a house in Greeneville December 17th.
Now the girls’ stepfather, 21-year-old Erick Eugene Jones Jr. has been charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse and neglect.
He’s being held without bond and will appear in court - today.

A 21-year-old man has been convicted of murdering a security guard at a Dalton Georgia nightclub.
It happened at the Las Delicias Bar March 23rd.
When a guard stopped him from entering, Orlando Ramirez shot the man twice. Then he shot a second guard, Bruno Rodriguez. The first guard lived, but Rodriguez died within minutes.
Now Ramirez will return to court January 30th to be sentenced. His case is not eligible - for the death penalty.

Authorities are searching for a man accused of shooting a FedEx driver in Memphis.
A warrant has been issued for 45-year-old Keith Austin for attempted murder.
Police say Austin used a high-powered rifle to shoot the driver while he was still in his truck.
The driver is said to be - in stable condition.

Northgate Mall will be getting some more major upgrades in twenty 15.
First, it’s getting an Ulta Beauty store, the largest beauty retailer in the United States.
Ulta Beauty will open a nearly 11,000 square foot store and salon at the front of the mall, where Piccadilly used to be.
Northgate is also getting a Massage Heights with 14 rooms - and 30 massage therapists.

More than 60 animals have been rescued from a hoarding situation in Sequatchie County.
The animals include more than 50 dogs, six cats, a parrot and a goat. At least four dogs were found dead.
The humane society says the animals were living in their own filth and trapped in rusty cages.
Those alive were in poor health.
55-year-old Geoffrey Peterson has been arrested and charged with animal cruelty.
He’ll appear in court - on Tuesday.

Tennessee is one of seven states that has a ban on atheists holding public office.
A provision in the state constitution says people who don’t believe in God aren’t eligible to serve.
Now a coalition called Openly Secular is trying to change that.
Advocates are pressing the states to remove the provisions they say are discriminatory.
But according to a 1961 Supreme Court ruling, the long-forgotten bans are unenforceable anyway.
The other states banning atheists are Arkansas, Mississippi, Texas, Maryland - and North and South Carolina.

The reel includes shots from Trillium Health Resources, Act Associates, GKN, PolyCom, Brytons Home Improvement, Burlington Parks and Rec, Indian Valley Golf Course, McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium, Small Business Center of Alamance County, Pink Ribbon, Mebane First Savings & Loan, Stay the Night ABC Sitcom, Autism Society of North Carolina and many more.
To accomplish our takes, we facilitated the Sony FS7, a7sII, our Canon and Zeiss lenses, our Odyssey field monitor, our Rode NTG 3 and 4, our Helix Jr. gimbal, our Duzi Slider by Cinevate, our Sachtler tripod, our Cartoni head for the jib, our DraCast lights, our Arri lights and more equipment that is lesser highlighted.
We travelled the state of North Carolina to gather many of these shots. From the East Coast to the Western Mountains, our crew ran the roads and drove through small little town that make up the South.
Along with North Carolina, we used clips taken in Michigan and Ohio. The rest are made up from around the world.
We circled the globe for a specific project, so a lot of these shots cover three continents--North America, Europe and Asia. Our cameras and tripods captured scenes in England, Germany, Poland, Romania and Thailand. The mural depicts some of the most important moments in the history of the City. 20 years later, the City of Burlington released a documentary film taking viewers on a journey through the City's first 100 years, as told by the images on the walls of the Historic Depot. From a town built on the rail, to the construction of the City's prized parks and lakes, the documentary, titled The Centennial Mural: A History of Burlington's First 100 Years, highlights the most significant milestones of the City's first century.
