境港駅は、日本有数の水揚げ量で有名な鳥取県境港市にあるJR境線の終着駅。1902年（明治35年）11月1日開業の山陰地方最初の駅の一つです。近年は、境港市出身の水木しげるの代表作「ゲゲゲの鬼太郎」による街おこしで賑わう境港駅で、駅周辺や駅構内、列車の発着風景を撮影してみました。
Sakaiminato station is located at Sakaiminato City in Tottori Prefecture, Japan, which is famous for large landing port for fish. This station belongs to the JR Sakai line. Sakaiminato station, opened on November 1st, 1902, is one of the oldest station in the San-in area. Recently, Sakaiminato has been gaining the attention because of famous comic Gegege no Kitaro by Shigeru Mizuki whose hometown is Sakaiminato.

【駅探訪No.27】JR越美北線 九頭竜湖駅にて(At Kuzuryuko Station on the JR Etsumi-Hoku Line)
九頭竜湖駅は1日5本の列車しか来ない福井県最東端の駅です。そんな山奥の終着駅にて駅周辺や構内、列車の発車風景を撮影してみました。
Kuzuryuko station, located at Ono City in Fukui Prefecture, Japan, is a terminal of JR Etsumi-Hoku line (or Kuzuryu line). I took this movie of station, vicinity, and trains at Kuzuryuko station.

GeGeGe no Kitaro Sakaiminato Tottori Japan
Sakaiminato is the home of Shigeru Mizuki, the creator of GeGeGe no Kitaro. There are one hundred bronze statues on the main street.
Very spooky and scary.
We stayed Tamatsukuri Onsen. Onsen means hot springs. The hotel is comfortable and good service and cost only 7700 yen includes dinner and breakfast in the room.
【駅探訪No.44】JR日南線 志布志駅にて(At Shibushi Station on the JR Nichinan Line)
志布志駅は、鹿児島県志布志市志布志町志布志二丁目にあるJR日南線の終着駅です。1925年3月30日に開業した駅で、かつては日南線・志布志線・大隅線が交わる大隅半島のターミナル駅でした。そんな志布志駅で、駅周辺や構内風景を撮影してみました。
Shibushi station, located at Shibushi City in Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan, is a terminal of JR Nichinan line. This station opened on 30th March, 1925 and here was a busy terminal of the Osumi Peninsula where trains including express on three lines (Nichinan, Shibushi and Osumi line) arrive and depart. I took this movie of station, and vicinity at Shibushi station.

Sakai suidou oohashi (Sakai waterworks big bridge) is curved chord truss bridge.
Sakai waterworks is a first-grade river in about 600 m of margin which flows between Tottori Prefecture SakaiminatoCity and Matsue-shi, Shimane Mihonoseki-cho, and 10,000 tons of shipping in a class sails around Sakaiminato which meets with the Sea of Japan.
A Sakai waterworks big bridge is the bridge where Sakai waterworks is crossed and Tottori and Shimane both prefectures are connected literally.

Длина Mizuki Shigeru Poad - всего 800 метров, но тут буквально на каждом шагу прохожих ждут герои манги Гэгэгэ но Китаро. Причём её жанр - традиционные японские ужасы, поэтому порой они выглядят жутковато.
Рядом с фигурками полно магазинов с сувенирами и вкусностями, есть несколько кафешек. Улица узкая, необычная - даже светофоры здесь стрекочут каждый по-своему.

Sakai Minato - Mizuki Shigeru Road - Gegege no Kitaro's Medama Oyaji
Tottori-Shimane-Hiroshima 2010: SakaiMinato - Mizuki Shigeru Road
In the small town of Sakai Minato (just next to north of Yonago) on the border of Tottori and Shimane prefectures in Western Japan on the northern sea of japan coast, you will find Mizuki Shigeru Road.
Being the hometown of acclaimed Manga creator, Mizuki Shigeru, this tourist area pulls out all the stops to celebrate his artistic albeit creepy creations.
In his creation, one of the most famous characters always has his eye covered up with long hair. I'm not sure why but it could be because his father is an eyeball (rather his father's spirit has possessed an eyeball) and this eyeball character (medama oyaji 目玉親父 = eyeball papa) seems to be quite beloved by fans.

クルーズ客船 ダイヤモンド・プリンセス 境港より出航 (16-Jun-2014) The DIAMOND PRINCESS depature from Port of Sakai
大型クルーズ客船 ダイヤモンド・プリンセス（Diamond Princess）が鳥取県の境港に初めて入港しました。
今回は、横浜を起点に金沢～舞鶴～境港～釜山～鹿児島へ寄港して横浜へ戻る10日間クルーズの中日で、梅雨の時期としては珍しい晴天に恵まれました。
ダイヤモンド・プリンセスは境港に入港した過去最大の客船で、総トン数 115,875t、全長290.00m、全幅41.50m、喫水8.5mで、船客定員2,674人、乗員1,238人となっています。
2004年2月に三菱重工業長崎造船所で建造された後、イギリスの船舶会社のP&Oに引き渡され、外航クルーズ客船として主に太平洋地域で運航されています。
境港への初寄港は事前に公表されており、穏やかな晴天に恵まれたこともあって、一般公開となった出港時には大勢の市民が詰めかけ、賑やかな見送りとなりました。
