Denstone College Rugby Club Jack Fielding Highlights Video
Jack Fielding is Denstone College's latest rugby graduate...Jack joined Denstone College in 2011 after perfoming very well at the England U16 trials at Broadstreet RFC where he was offered and accepted a Rugby Scholarship...he was a key member of the 2011 Unbeaten 1st XV (beating the likes of Kirkham GS, Bromsgrove, Ellesmere College & King's Macclesfield)...only the 5th Unbeaten 1st XV in the history of Denstone College dating back to 1899...he was also a key member of the 2012 National 7s Festival squad where they reached the Last 24 Schools (beating RGS Guildford & Bromsgrove)...throughout the 2012 1st XV season Jack led from the front on the field and put in many excellent performances...beating Daily Mail Cup finalists NSB at the end of the Michaelmas term...at the 2013 National 7s Festival Jack was awesome and it was the highlight of his rugby career at Denstone...he almost single handedly beat Tonbridge School with one of the greatest schoolboy performances for Denstone College in the Last 16 knock-out stage losing narrowly 14-12 (Tonbridge went on to the final and were Runners-up)...so much so that Wales RFU invited him to their U18 7s training camp...you could not meet a more dedicated rugby athlete or a more decent guy than Jack...he works tremendously hard in the gym and in training...he is very athletic and his Judo background helps him enormously...Jack has all the attributes to become a full-time rugby professional...and he would be an major assest to any club or team...

Denstone College 2013 1st VII National 7s Knock-out Stages
...after winning Group T with victories against Sir Joseph Williamson, Marlborough, KCS Wimbledone and Churchers on Day 1...Denstone qualified for the knock-out stages of the National 7s Festival Tournament on Day 2 for only the 2nd time in the last 8 years...first up was Abingdon in the Last 24...which was an amazing game with Denstone securing victory with a sudden death extra time try by Jack Fielding...Tonbridge were Denstone's opponents in the Last 16...Denstone produced another amazing performance with Jack Fielding being the star of the match...losing narrowly 12-10...

Warwick 21-19 in the semi-final...then losing narrowly to Solihull 24-14 in the final...overall an excellent performance and the best performance by any Denstone College team at the Warwick 7s in the History of the College...
