Rowland Flat 08 Approach and Landing
A short video showing the circuit for runway 08 at Rowland Flat. For those planning on flying into the Barossa Airshow for the first time, this may be of use. Runway 08 uses left hand circuits, 26 uses right hand circuits due to the proximity to the hills. The field elevation is 800ft and it is located due east of the Novotel Barossa, near the Jacob's Creek winery. Be careful of windshear on short final and note that 08 has an incline at the threshold.

The field elevation is 800ft and it is located due east of the Novotel Barossa, near the Jacob's Creek winery. Be careful of windshear on short final and note that 26 has a downslope at the far end. This circuit was too close on base resulting in the need for some sideslip on final approach.
