Sidmouth Beaches In Summer: Running Down Jacob's Ladder & Around
10 minutes of running by the sea / on the beach on a hot day in July 2016. Virtual 1st person view video. Route: Jacob's Ladder, Undercliff, town beach, promenade; back to Jacob's Ladder and then Connaught Gardens. Distance in video about 2k, or just over 1 mile. I've cut out the audio for most of it due to wind noise (and also due to noise from running stride - it seems this is worse when I wear the camera on the Smatree cap rather than my usual head strap).

Arrived at 0545 , just getting light , very quiet , lovely calm and clear sea , beautiful sunrise over the cliffs , just a little breeze , perfect .
Surprised that the Connaught Gardens were open and also FREE to visit.
It seems that everywhere worth visiting has a price tag these days.
Filmed with a DJI Phantom Quadcopter , GoPro Hero3 Black camera and a cheap no brand name brushless gimbal.
Filmed at 1080p , 60fps.
The Anxious Trip to Devon - Part 3 Shopping & Visiting Jacobs Ladder in Sidmouth
The third episode here in my anxious trip to Devon includes some sightseeing and shopping in Budleigh Salterton and a visit to Jacobs Ladder in Sidmouth amongst other things.
This day was by far the busiest of the days we spent in Devon, I actually managed to surprise myself by how much I was able to do with very little anxiety and zero panic attacks.
The reason for this series of videos is to try and document my own issues with anxiety whilst being away from what I would consider my comfort zone.
If anyone has a problem with my views in this one then please feel free to email me and we'll talk it through like normal human beings.

Sidmouth 2016 in Devon UK
Sidmouth in the county of Devon is a very popular place for visitors as can be seen in the video. The video also has scenes in the Connaught Gardens, but because they were filmed in September the gardens are not at there best. It also shows the start of the Tour of Britain cycle race Sidmouth to Haytor Dartmoor.

Incredible view into Sidmouth Devon uk
Sidmouth is a lovely seaside resort that looks ten times better if the weather is kind. In the 2nd week in September 2009 the weather was wonderful and hence this view of the countryside and sea looked terrific.
Stormy seas at Sidmouth, East Devon
Strong SE winds and high tide lead to these stormy scenes mainly filmed at Jacobs Ladder beach just west of Sidmouth town centre. I would guess wind gusts were at least in the 40-50mph range (it was quite hard to stand when exposed to it and the rain stung when it was blown into you)
See a more stormy version in June 2012 here:
